    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an ice maker provided in a refrigerator and having an ice making tray to be rotated by a driving means to manufacture tasty ice of high transparency, by a method wherein at a time of ice making, the driving means is operated to swing the ice making tray within a prescribed range of angle. CONSTITUTION:When ice is made, first cool water in a water supply tank 18 is supplied by a prescribed amount by a water supply pump 22 through a water supply pipe 23 into an ice making tray 13. On the other hand, cool air cooled by a cooler is supplied by a fan 9 into a bottom part of the ice making tray 13 to make ice in the ice making tray 13. At this time, a motor in a driving means 11 is driven in one direction by a prescribed time to rotate the ice making tray 13 by a prescribed angle (larger than 15 deg. and smaller than 30 deg.) from a horizontal position. Then the motor is driven in the reversed direction to rotate the ice making tray 13 by the prescribed angle from the horizontal position in the reversed direction. By repeating this swinging motion of the ice making tray 13, bubbles are made to float up all together on a freezing surface before taken into ice and then releasing into the atmosphere, whereby ice of high transparency can be made.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To supply tea leaves firmly into a tea straining filter even if they includes a lot of stems by a method wherein when a shaft comes into contact with an arch-shaped engaging part provided at a part of a shutter and revolves on the engaging part, the shutter is opened compulsorily by the revolution of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:Tea leaves stored in a tea caddy 1 are collected by trodding for revolution and transfer of an anger 4 in an opening part 3 of a casing 2. When the tea leaves are accumulated by a prescribed amount in the opening part 3, a shaft 13 fixed on an associated gear 10 comes into contact with an arch-shaped engaging part 14 provided at a part of a shutter 6 and revolves on the engaging part 14, and the shutter 6 is opened compulsorily by the revolution of the shaft 13. Accordingly, fresh tea leaves can be supplied firmly along the shutter 6 into a tea straining filter 15. Further, as the associated gear 10 is stopped just before a closing motion of the shutter 6 is completed so that teeth of the associated gear 10 can engage again with those of a driving gear 9, a following tea leaves changing motion can start smoothly without any troubles such as a bad engagement of the teeth of the gears.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To discharge the tea leaves contained in a tea straining filter by providing the device so that when a driving gear and a driven gear rotate, a rotation projecting part of a plate part is pushed up along an inversion engaging part provided on the driving gear and the plate part executes a rotational motion, and by this rotation, an inversion plate provided coaxially rotates and hits against a stopper. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 1 starts to rotate clockwise, a driving gear 2 also rotates clockwise, and simultaneously, a driven gear 3 rotates counterclockwise. An inversion engaging part 5 provided on the driven gear 3 also rotates. In connection with this rotation, the inversion engaging part 5 comes into contact with a rotation projecting part 8 fixed to a plate part 7, and also, pushes up the rotation projecting part 8. when an inversion plate 10 and a tea straining filter 11 are extruded exceeding a vertical state by a rotation of the projecting part 8, the inversion plate 10 and the tea straining filter 11 are inverted quickly by its dead weight irrespective of a motion of the driven gear 3 and the inversion engaging part 5, and when they hit impulsively against a stopper, used tea leaves in the tea straining filter 11 are dumped at a stroke without being scattered.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To supply the tea leaves to a tea straining filter by constituting the device so that when an auger turns by a rotation of a driving gear, stored tea leaves are collected in an opening port part of a casing by an auger rotational carrying operation, and on the other hand, a shaft fixed to an interlocking gear comes into contact with an engaging part provided on a shutter and opens the shutter. CONSTITUTION:A driving motor 11 rotates, and an interlocking gear 10 and a driving gear 9 also rotate. By the rotation of the driving gear 9, an auger 4 turns through a yoke part 3, and tea leaves stored in a tea canister l are collected in an opening port part 5 of a casing 2 by a rotational carrying operation of the auger 4. In the opening port part 3, a shutter is closed by force of a spring 7 attached to the shutter 6. When the tea leaves are stored by a prescribed quantity in the opening port part 3, a shaft 12 fixed to the interlocking gear 10 comes into contact with a circular arc-like engaging part 13 provided on a part of the shutter 6 and runs slowly thereon, and in accordance with a rotation of the shaft 12, the shutter 6 is opened forcibly, and new tea leaves are supplied to a tea straining filter 14 along the shutter 6.

CONSTITUTION:A controller 13 is provided with a first temperature deciding means 14 for comparing temperature signal from a temperature detector 12 with a first reference temperature signal, a second temperature deciding means 15 for comparing the temperature signal with a second reference temperature signal which is higher than the first reference temperature signal, and further with a warmth retaining control means 16 for turning a heater 3 ON when the temperature signal is lower than the first reference temperature signal in the first temperature deciding means 14 and turning the heater 3 OFF when the temperature signal is higher than the second reference temperature signal in the second temperature deciding means 15, and a waterless boiling preventing control means 17 for turning the heater OFF when a time period from turning-ON of the heater 3 by the first temperature deciding means 14 to turning- OFF of the heater by the second temperature deciding means 15 is shorter than a prescribed value. Thus, safety control of the heater can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the smooth and proper turning and reversing of a tea leaves filter by constituting a tea leaves change device with a driving gear having a turning engagement part connected to an electric motor, a driven gear with a reversing engagement part turning interlocked with the driving gear, a flat plate part connected to one end of a shaft, a projection part thereon and the tea leaves filter connected to the other end of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:A driving gear 2 connected to an electric motor 1 turns a driven gear 3. A turning engagement part 4 is provided on the driven gear 3 and a reversing engagement part 5 on the driving gear 2. Both parts 4 and 5 are so arranged as to be located on the same axial line as the gears 2 and 3, and at a center point between the aforesaid gears 2 and 3. A projection part 8 is fixed to a flat plate part 7 connected to one end of a shaft 6 in such a way as to come in contact with the turning engagement part 4 and the reversing engagement part 5 for the predetermined time against the driving and driven gears 2 and 3. A turning plate 9 is fitted to the other end of the shaft 6 and a tea leaves filter 10 is so mounted to the turning plate 9 as to be freely detachable. The filter 10 is normally positioned horizontally and a stopper 11 is provided in a gear housing box.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the inside of a tea feeder from being filled with steam, and also to prevent the inside thereof from becoming a high temperature by operating a heat-and-steam exhausting fan during the electrification of a hot-water feed valve and for a prescribed period of time after completion of electrification. CONSTITUTION:A heater 4 and a fan 15 are synchronously electrified, and the heat of the heater 4 is efficiently exhausted by the fan 15 to the outside of the body of a tea feeder 1. When a user turns a tear switch 18 on, H is input to the input terminal (b) of a microcomputer 35, and normally-open contacts 26 and 30 are closed to turn a hot-water feed valve 6 and the fan 15 on. Then, the hot water in the inside of a hot-water tank 2 is poured in a tea strainer 8 through a hot-water port 7, and passing through the tea leaves put in the tea strainer 8, tea is supplied to a vessel such as a teacup 9, and the steam generated is exhausted by the fan 15. After a lapse of a prescribed period of time, L is output to an output terminal (f) to turn the fan 15 off.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the supply of a concentrated drink with one touch control and prevent the loss of its flavor on standing to avoid the discarding thereof by mixing a predetermined amount of the concentrated drink extracted from a pack thereof and water in a predetermined ratio. CONSTITUTION:The mixing ratio A of a concentrated drink and water is first set by a first switch 25 and then the unit consumption amount B of a diluted drink is set by a second switch 26. A microcomputer 33 in a control circuit 24 computes the drive hour C of a concentrated drink extraction coil 22 and the drive hour D of a water feed valve 16 from the mixing ratio A and the unit consumption amount B. When an extraction switch 5 of an operating part 2 is depressed, an output from the control circuit 24 actuates the coil 22 for the hour C to extract a predetermined amount of the concentrated drink and, at the same time, the water feed valve 16 for the hour D to feed a predetermined amount of water into a cold water tank 6 which, in turn, supplies the cold water therefrom through a water feed outlet 16, whereby a mixture of the concentrated drink and the cold water is supplied through a nozzle 23 as a cup of coffee.
