Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an appropriate temperature of each storage compartment in a refrigerator whose compressor is ON/OFF-controlled on the basis of a refrigeration compartment temperature sensor. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 10, whose compressor 22 is controlled on the basis of the refrigeration compartment temperature sensor 19, arranges a cold air adjusting member 17 for adjusting a cold air quantity in a cold air passage 16 defined behind a refrigeration compartment 11, and controls the operation of the compressor 22 and varies the rotating speed of a cooler fan 15 on the basis of the refrigeration compartment temperature sensor 19, to thus maintain appropriate cooling performance especially of the refrigeration compartment.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain performance and reliability of a cooling system even when an article is placed at a depth of a surface plate of a refrigerator body without changing the color of a wall due to heat of a condenser. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerator comprises a heat insulation box 9 formed of an outer box 6, an inner box 7 and a foamed heat insulator 8 filled between both the boxes, a machine room 12 for containing a compressor 11 in a lower part of the box 9, a back surface condenser 13 adhered to and contained in the box 6 of a back surface of the box 9, and a lower condenser 14 formed by caulking a pipe at a steel plate 15 in the room 12 and installed obliquely in a longitudinal direction of the box 9. Thus, the refrigerator comprises a vent hole 16 formed at a front surface of the room 12, a cover 17 for blocking the rear surface of the room 12, protruding from the box 6 and having a convection hole 18, and a stopper 19 provided at an upper depth of the box 9, wherein a ratio of the condenser 13 to the condenser 14 is set to a configuration ratio of 20% or more of the entire condenser.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and inexpensive storage device of perishable materials by constituting plural adsorbing materials divided by an inner partition plate to adsorb and remove excessive CO2 and flow channel change parts made of dampers at the upstream and downstream sides of the adsorbing materials in an integrated way. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned storage device of perishable materials has adsorbing materials 135 of two sections divided by an inner partition plate 139 to adsorb and remove excessive CO2. The storage device is equipped with a device 102 of adsorbing carbon dioxide gas provided with flow channel change parts 136 and 137 composed of dampers 152-159 at the upstream and downstream sides of the adsorbing materials 135 and 136 of two sections in an integrated way. According to the above-mentioned constitution, since distance in which a circulating gas is passed can be shortened, reduction in an amount of circulating air by pressure loss is small and a required amount of circulating air can be secured by a small-size blower. Since connecting pipings can be lessened and a container to put the adsorbing materials 135 and 136 can be simplified, the device is compacted to provide an inexpensive storage chamber of perishable materials. In the figure, the storage chamber 1 and a carbon dioxide gas generator 101 are shown.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the electric power consumption and heat-dissipation loss and to accurately detect the shortage of fuel by placing a cleaning catalyst, a temperature-detection means and a filter in a combustion furnace. CONSTITUTION:A carbon-containing fuel 110 is burned in a combustion furnace 102 and the generated carbon dioxide gas is supplied to a perishable material storage chamber 1. Air for the combustion of the fuel 110 is circulated from the storage chamber 1 to the combustion furnace 102 with a blower 16. Ash in the fuel 110 is removed with a filter 128 and the incomplete combustion gas in the combustion gas is burned and eliminated with a catalyst 124. Air supplied for the combustion of the fuel 110 in the combustion furnace 102 is preheated with a preheater 103 and the combustion gas generated in the combustion furnace 102 and passed through the preheater 103 is cooled with a cooler 104. A temperature-detecting means 132 is placed at the upper part in the combustion furnace 102. The electric power consumption and heat-dissipation loss can be reduced and the shortage of fuel can be accurately detected by the above structure.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a toxic gas from being generated and to safely supply fuel by providing a fresh foodstuff storage compartment, a furnace that burns solid fuel containing carbon, a fan to circulate air, an excess carbon dioxide gas adsorber and a sealed container containing fuel and a fuel supply device. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 50 supplies solid fuel 19 deposited in a sealed container 48 to a furnace at right timing. The air in the storage compartment 1 is supplied to the furnace 12 through a duct 10 by a fan 14 to burn the solid fuel 19. The waste gas enters into an adsorber 22 through cooling unit 13. switch valve 28 and duct 24. Carbon dioxide is adsorbed by adsorbing material 30 therein, and only nitrogen is circulated to the storage compartment 1 through discharge pipe 26 and switch valve 29. After a certain elapsed time, the switch vales 28, 29 are switched to cause the carbon dioxide entering the adsorber 23 is adsorbed by the adsorbing material and only nitrogen N2 is circulated to the storage compartment 1. If the adsorbing materials 30, 31 reach their limits of adsorption capacity during such a process, a fan 32 is operated to supply air to the adsorbing materials to desorb the carbon dioxide and perform regeneration.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove NOx and SOx generated in a combustion furnace and to prevent the deterioration of piping by acid corrosion by providing an acid filter to an apparatus for feeding combustion gas to a preservation chamber of perishable material. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas of a combustion furnace 12 is transferred through a blower 14 and adsorbing device 22, 23 for excess carbon dioxide gas to a preservation chamber 1 and the air in the preservation chamber 1 is circulated as a combustion air to the combustion furnace 1. In the above preservation apparatus for perishable material, a cooler 13 to cool the high-temperature exhaust gas is placed at the downstream of the combustion furnace 1 and an acid filter 51 is provided at the downstream of the cooler to cool the SOx and NOx in the exhaust gas to increase the relative humidity of the gases and condense sulfuric acid and nitric acid. The acids are removed with the acid filter 51 to prevent the corrosion of pipings with the acids.
