SOLUTION: After image pickup instruction (S5) is inputted, and when the optical axis directions of optical systems 2 and 3 are aligned with an object direction, an object image transmitted through the optical system is picked up by image pickup means 4 and 5. Thus, chromatic aberration and the deterioration of contrast reproducibility caused when the optical axis of the optical system is bent can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a picture shake generated at the time of turning a power source ON, and to operate a hand shake correction in a full range immediately after turning the power source ON in the case of an application of the subject circuit to a video camera by charging a capacitor at a high speed, and outputting a correction angle signal after the completion of the charge for the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A switch 21 is turned ON, and a capacitor C1 is charged at a high speed at the time of turning the power source ON by the control of a microcomputer 20, and a switch 35 between a high-pass filter (addition circuits 31 and 34, amplifier circuit 33, and delay band 32) and an integration circuit (addition circuit 36, amplifier circuit 38, and delay 37) in the microcomputer 20 is turned OFF. Then, the switch 21 is turned OFF after the completion of the charge for the capacitor C1, and the switch 35 is turned ON. Thus, the picture shake generated on the screen of a television monitor at the time of turning the power source ON can be prevented, and the hand shake correction in the full rage can be operated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove the line flicker of a picture after an enlargement/reduction processing or the flicker of vertical resolution for each field by offsetting the respective origins of enlarging/reducing odd-numbered and even-numbered fields so as to be distant from an adjacent scanning line for an equal distance between the both fields when enlarging/reducing the picture. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the case of double enlargement, enlarging origins Co and Ce in odd-numbered and even-numbered fields are respectively offset upward only for the 1/4 and 3/4 of a line interval (d) to lines #1 and #2 of the source picture, for example, and set coincident between fields. In this case, between respective adjacent two lines in the both fields of the source picture, the interpolating position of the odd-numbered field is set while being offset downward respectively only for the 3/8 and 7/8 of the line interval (d), and the interpolating position of the even-numbered field is set while being offset downward respectively only for the 1/8 and 5/8 of the line interval (d). Then, between the odd-numbered and even-numbered fields, the respective interpolating positions are respectively offset only for the 1/4 of the line interval (d). Thus, the line flicker of the picture or the flicker of vertical resolution for each field can be removed after an enlargement/reduction processing at an arbitrary magnifying power.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To correct picture wobbling while effectively preventing picture quality from being degraded by detecting the amount of picture wobbling correction based on an image pickup signal continuing picture information for one frame within one field period, and converting the signal to the video signal of interlace after correcting picture wobbling. CONSTITUTION:A picture wobbling correction circuit 62 detects a motion vector while fetching luminance signals SYO and SYE in even-number and odd-number fields. A motion vector effectiveness decision circuit 72 detects a cumulative added value around a detected minimum value and judges the effectiveness of the detected motion vector. A moving amount calculation circuit 74 delays output data only for one field period, subtracts it from the output data of the motion vector effectiveness decision circuit 72, detects the amount of picture wobbling correction and corrects the picture wobbling. Thus, since the picture information for one frame is repeated at one field cycle, the picture wobbling is corrected by interpolation calculation concerning correction less than the unit of one line, the reduction of vertical resolution can be effectively prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced video with less deterioration in resolution while maintaining compatibility with a conventional recorder by providing a means to selectively switch the carrier frequency of FM modulation to a first value and a second value. CONSTITUTION:In normal operation of recording/reproducing, the change-over switch 8 is connected to an N-contact, and an FM luminance signal YFM of carrier frequency f0 is recorded. Next, when the switch 8 is connected to a high fidelity mode contact F1, a DC bias E1 is added to an input video signal, and the carrier frequency of an FM luminance signal YFM is shifted to a value higher, e.g. about by 400kHz. In this status, an FM sound signal is multiplexed in a trough between an FM illuminance and a low frequency band chroma. Further, when the switch 8 is switched to a high fidelity high-definition mode contact F2, a DC bias E2 is added to an input video signal, and the carier frequency f0 of an FM illuminance signal YFM is further shifted upward by DELTAf. As a result, the data can be recorded/reproduced even by a conventional equipment without any fault, hence the compatibility is maintained.

CONSTITUTION:An emitter of a TR 26 is connected to a base of a TR 29 and a connecting point between a collector and a base of a TR 28, and a reactance circuit 7 as an AC load is connected to a collector of a TR 30 whose emitter is connected in common to that of the TR 29, an input signal is fed through the base of the TR 28 or the circuit 7, an output signal is extracted from the collector of the TR 30, fed to the base of a TR 31 and a prescribed quantity of the output signal is fed back to obtain the filter characteristic. The dynamic range of the filter circuit designed as above is widened and no emitter follower circuit is required for the feedback circuit, then the number of components is decreased by the feedback.
