Abstract: PURPOSE:To drive an electronic apparatus using both power supplies while eliminating the ON/OFF control for switching by providing means for limiting the bidirectional current flowing from an internal power supply to an external power supply, or vice versa, to a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:An external battery adapter 1 comprises output terminals 2A, 2B, an external power supply, i.e., a battery 3, and a current limiter 4. The current limiter 4 is interposed between the output terminals 2A, 2B and the battery 3 and allows a current to flow in the direction from the battery 3 to the output terminal 2A or vice versa while limiting the current to a predetermined level or below in each direction. Consequently, the control system can be simplified to reduce the cost while allowing to drive an electronic apparatus using both the internal and external power supplies. Furthermore, the driving time can be prolonged and the operation can be sustained even if one power supply is replaced during operation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily seek a specific object by providing a color signal selection means which detects a color signal of a color represented by a designated color signal and outputs the detected signal among color signals generated from an image pickup signal based on a comparison result signal to compare the designated color signal and the image pickup color signal and a display device displaying a picture by an output color signal of the color signal selection means to the system. CONSTITUTION:A designated color signal CR is compared with a chroma signal C generated by an image pickup signal by a phase comparator 5, from which a phase comparison result signal SO is outputted. The comparison result signal SO as understood from a waveform diagram is a high level signal when the phase of the chrominance signal C and the phase of the designated color signal are in phase (phase corresponding to a red color in both phases) and is a low level signal in other case. The comparison result signal SO is fed to a color LCD signal processing circuit 6 and a control input terminal of an output buffer 7. When the comparison result signal SO fed to the control input terminal is at a low level, all RGB signals are outputted, and when the comparison result signal SO is at a high level on the other hand, only the R signal is outputted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To always obtain a picture easy to see by controlling the contrast on a liquid crystal display device and/or the intensity of emitted light of a back light by a control circuit in accordance with a time count signal indicating the cumulative power supply time. CONSTITUTION:A time counting circuit 27 which outputs a time count signal S1 corresponding to the cumulative power supply time of a view finder and a control circuit 28 which controls the contrast of a liquid crystal display device 1 and/or the intensity of emitted light of a back light 4 are provided. The control circuit 28 controls the contrast on the liquid crystal display device 1 and/or the intensity of emitted light of the back light in accordance with the time count signal S1 which is counted by the time counting circuit 27 and indicates the cumulative power supply time. Thus, the degradation in brightness of the back light 4 or contrast on the liquid crystal display device 1 is automatically compensated though they are degraded by the secular change, and the picture easy to see is always obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce volume at the time of non-use of the view finder by folding a case while holding a display device and an eyepiece. CONSTITUTION:Between a back part 22 and a side part 23 of a case 21, a notched part 24 where the thickness is thinning is formed. On an inside part 25 of the case 21, supporting guides 31A to 31D and 32A to 32D are formed, and holding plates 36 and 37 are mounted through pins 33a to 33D and pins 34A to 34D in this supporting guide. In the holding plate 37, an LCD 40 and a back light 41 are integrally held and an eyepiece 46 is arrange on the holding plate 36. Therefore, the holding plates 36 and 37 and the side part 23 of the case 21 are operated as quadric link mechanism at the time of non-use, and the eyepiece 46 and the LCD 40 can be in a horizontal state, and the case 21 can be folded. Thus, the volume of the view finder can be reduced at the time of folding.
