Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify an electrical connection, to improve a noise of a signal system, and to make the titled video tape recorder miniature and light in weight by fixing a rotary drum device to a substrate, setting a terminal connected to a magnetic head, etc., to a connecting state to a circuit pattern, and executing an electrical connection to the substrate. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a projection 14 of the lower end of a rotary drum device 2 is allowed to pass through a through-hole 21 of a sheet connector 20 and a through-hole 16 of a chassis 9, said projection is allowed to pass through screw holes 19, 22 and 15b of the chassis 9, the sheet connector 20 and a wiring board 15 and screwed by two pieces of drum device fixing screws 40 from the lower side of the chassis 9, so as to become a state that the rotary drum device 2 is fixed onto the chassis 9. The sheet connector 20 on a circuit pattern 10 is in a state that is comes into contact with a connecting pin 13 on the surface of the opposite side, therefore, by a characteristic of the sheet connector 20, the respective connecting pins 13 and the prescribed circuit pattern 10 becomes a conducting state, and each electronic parts in the rotary drum device 2 become a state connected to prescribed circuit parts of a video tape recorder. In such a way, an electrical connection of the rotary drum device, etc. is simplified, a noise of a signal system is improved, and the video tape recorder can be made miniature and light in weight.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element and imaging apparatus for suppressing power consumption by controlling a circuit operation band upon horizontal transfer.
SOLUTION: A column A/D circuit 150 includes a horizontal adder 153 for horizontal readout. The horizontal adder 153 includes: an adder 11, that is a one-bit full adder, disposed between column A/D circuits 150 of neighboring two columns (in vertical direction); a flip-flop 12 that outputs a carry bit in response to a clock signal; and a selector 13 for switching a connection to a data storage unit 152 in response to an MSB control signal from a timing control unit 140. The adder 11 reads and adds digital image signals, in a bit-by-bit manner, from LSB sides of the data storage units 152 in the column A/D circuits 150 of the neighboring two columns and stores them in an MSB side of the data storage unit 152 in one of the columns.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce volume at the time of non-use of the view finder by folding a case while holding a display device and an eyepiece. CONSTITUTION:Between a back part 22 and a side part 23 of a case 21, a notched part 24 where the thickness is thinning is formed. On an inside part 25 of the case 21, supporting guides 31A to 31D and 32A to 32D are formed, and holding plates 36 and 37 are mounted through pins 33a to 33D and pins 34A to 34D in this supporting guide. In the holding plate 37, an LCD 40 and a back light 41 are integrally held and an eyepiece 46 is arrange on the holding plate 36. Therefore, the holding plates 36 and 37 and the side part 23 of the case 21 are operated as quadric link mechanism at the time of non-use, and the eyepiece 46 and the LCD 40 can be in a horizontal state, and the case 21 can be folded. Thus, the volume of the view finder can be reduced at the time of folding.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the picture quality by providing a view finder having a decoder receiving a digital video signal from a signal processing circuit of a camera main body through a bus, decoding the digital video signal and outputting a signal to display a picture on a display device to the video camera. CONSTITUTION:A digital video signal VD is fed to a decoder driver 19 being a component of a view finder 17 through a bus 15. The decoder driver 19 decodes the applied digital video signal VD, converts the signal into an analog signal and gives the converted signal to an LCD 11. Thus, a picture with fidelity corresponding to the digital video signal VD is displayed on a display screen of the LCD 11. In this case, even when the signal waveform of the digital video signal VD is distorted due to a stray impedance or the like and the distortion stays within a prescribed range, since the original signal is accurately reproduced, the picture displayed on the LCD 11 is brought into the picture with fidelity to the image pickup signal S and the picture quality is improved comparatively.
