Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the operatability and the convenience of a system by a method wherein a timer is controlled and set in a whole system. CONSTITUTION: The controller 14 with a built-in timer of a TV receiver and the controllers 23, 33, 43, 53, 63 and 72 of respective AV apparatuses 2-7 are connected to an AV center 1 bidirectionally with bus-bars 9. The controller 14 recognizes the types and functions of the respective AV apparatuses. In case of dubbing or editing, in accordance with addresses, the AV center 1 transfers I/O switching commands to the reproducing/recording AV apparatuses and switches respective I/O selectors 16, 24, 34, 44, 64 and 73 to determine the signal routes between the AV center and the I/O selectors. At that time, when the timer record is started, a recorded picture contents are displayed on a TV receiver. In addition, a system wakeup function for the timer setting time, a timer recording detouring function which facilitates the usage of the apparatus during the timer waiting, a deck relay timer function, an external satellite tuner timer recording function, etc., are provided.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress operational confusion and wrong operation by a user, while a plurality of source units have been connected to a sink unit. SOLUTION: In step S1, the source unit transmits a display state confirmation request to the sink unit. Accordingly, the sink unit transmits a display state confirmation notification to the source unit in step S11. The source unit determines whether the display state of the sink unit is a division display state in step S2, and stops the superimposition of menu display in step S3 when it is determined that the display state is the division display state. The display device can be applied to an electronic unit having an HDMI. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the hung-up of a PC caused by inputting to the PC a signal format different from a driver read by the PC in a recording/reproducing device equipped with the recording/reproducing function of mixing a plurality of signal formats to perform recording/reproducing and the communication function of establishing connection with an external device to output a reproducing signal. SOLUTION: In a video system 500 configured by connecting a camcoder having a function of transferring a video or control signal and a PC 200 via an IEEE 1394 cable 300, the camcoder 100 for mixing a plurality of signal formats via a recording medium to record/reproduce a signal stores a signal format recognized by establishing connection with the PC 200, starts reproduction, then stops the output of a reproducing signal when a part recorded in a signal format different from the stored format is reached, skips to a part recorded in a next stored signal format, and starts the output of a reproducing signal. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video device for outputting a video/audio signal with a plurality of formats and a video output control method for automatically interrupting/reconnecting the connection of the video device and a computer without physically inserting/extracting a cable when the format of the video/audio signal to be outputted to the computer is switched. SOLUTION: A network control part 36 of a video device 10 detects that the format of a video/audio signal has changed, and controls a network interface 37 to perform cable extraction processing for logically interrupting network connection, and then to perform processing when a normal cable is extracted. After the lapse of a predetermined time, the network control part 36 controls the network interface 37 again to perform cable insertion processing for logically reconnecting the network, and then to perform processing when the normal cable is inserted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer data between an outer bus and an inner bus in asynchronous communication. SOLUTION: A packet obtained from the outer bus by asynchronous communication is stored in a first memory means. The packet of the first memory means is transferred to a second memory means through the inner bus. Data obtained by resolving the packet stored in the second memory means are transferred to an inner signal processing system. On the other hand, data from the inner signal processing system are made into the packet, are transferred to the second memory means and are transferred to a third memory means. Transfer between the first memory means and the second memory means and that between the second memory means and the third memory means are set to be DMA transfer. Head information showing whether the first unit data of DMA transfer are the head of the packet or not and the last information showing whether the last unit data are the last of the packet or not are set in a control register for DMA transfer. DMA transfer is performed in accordance with the setting of the control register and head information and last information are reflected on the transfer destination of DMA transfer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a register to be made correspond to an auto-transaction of IEEE 1394 standards and to change response specifications of an already corresponding register to easily realize evaluation of the response. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a microcomputer 2, which performs information processing corresponding to a transaction layer of IEEE 1394 standards, and a LINK-IC 4 which performs corresponding processing of a link layer of IEEE 1394 standards and performs setting of a transaction response from the outside to a register and the value change of the register in accordance with designation from the microcomputer 2.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately pattern a layer to be etched even with a resist pattern reduced in thickness by etching by irradiating the resist pattern with plasma to form a hardened layer in the surface of the resist pattern. SOLUTION: A resist pattern 7 is irradiated with plasma obtained by converting a rare gas or an inert gas such as He, Ne, Ar, Kr or Xe into plasma, applying RF bias to a stage and radiating ions shown by the arrows toward a layer 5 to be etched. By the plasma irradiation, a hardened layer 8 is formed in the resist pattern 7 in such a way that the layer 8 is made thicker on the top of the pattern 7 and thinner on the side. A hardened layer may thinly be formed in part of the side of an organic antireflection layer 6. The hardened layer 8 has a structure firmly combined by crosslinking between carbon atoms newly formed by the dissociation of carbon-hydrogen bonds in the resist material.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image data different in the operation mode of a signal processing system from flowing through the signal processing system. SOLUTION: A header display section 21 displays header information of an isochronous packet received via an IEEE1394 bus 2 and gives the header information to a control section 11. A router section 22 switches a path corresponding to the received isochronous packet. The control section 11 discriminates a type of received image data based on the header information fed from the header display section 21. The control section 11 sets an operating mode of a signal processing system corresponding to the type of the image data and switches a switch section 23. An FIFO section 24 stores tentatively the image data of the isochronous packet fed via the switch 23 and sends the data to the signal processing system.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing data duplication by which preventing duplication of voice/video information in devices connected to IEEE1394 can be easily and surely performed. SOLUTION: Duplication permission information indicating whether duplication is permitted to each device connected to a bus or not is held, when data are duplicated from a device to an opposite device, a request command of duplication permission information is sent from a device to an opposite device (S5). Receiving the request command of duplication permission information, the opposite device returns duplication permission information held in the device to the device. The device controls permission/non-permission of duplication based on duplication permission information returned from the opposite side.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently debug a 1394 bus correspondent equipment. SOLUTION: A PC 1 simulates VTR 1 (current internal state is 'STOP') for recording and reproducing the television signals of NTSC system corresponding to a 1394 bus, VTR 2 (current internal state is 'PB' (reproduction)) and can coder (current internal estate is REC(recording)")m generates a signal corresponding to responses returned from respective pieces of equipment to a command transmitted through a 1394 bus 11 to the VTR 1, VTR 2 and can coder and outputs it. Thus, it seems from the outside the equipment (VTR 1, VTR 2 and cam coder) corresponding to the 1394 bus is connected to the 1394 bus.
