Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output the contents of a video recording reservation set by a PDA(personal digital assistant) to a personal computer to make the personal computer perform the video recording reservation. SOLUTION: The PDA1-2 where information about the reserved video recording of a program is set in a reservation table can be connected to the personal computer 9 through a cradle 7. The cradle 7 is provided with a hotsync button, and when the hotsync button is pressed down while the PDA1-2 and the personal computer 9 are connected through the cradle 7, the reservation table set in the PDA1-2 is transmitted to the personal computer 9 because a file and data are synchronized between the PDA1-2 and the personal computer 9, and the personal computer 9 performs reserved video recording on the basis of the reservation table.

A channel 284, a date 285 and time 286 are displayed on the program table 281. A plurality of advertisement information are associated with the program table, and in the advertisement banner 283, displays are automatically changed in a prescribed time, for instance, every 30 seconds, etc. When a user clicks the advertisement banner 283, an advertisement detail image carrying the URL(uniform resource locator)s and e-mail addresses of company Web pages is displayed as occasion demands.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a cassette controller from a mechanical deck so as to improve assemblability by providing a rack mechanism for removing the mechanical deck from a chassis substrate in the cassette controller having a cassette holder. SOLUTION: This device is constructed in such a manner that large and small tape cassettes 4A and 4B are selectively fixed to two reel bases. A rack mechanism 47 in which a pair of parallel rack members 48 and 49 are moved mutually to each other by a pinion 53 is provided with an engaging recessed part 51 in one end part of one member 48 and an engaging recessed part 52 projecting to the member 48 in one end part of the other member 49. A cassette controller is provided with a driving lever 56, the lever 56 is engaged with the engaging recessed part 51 of one member 48 during a downward movement, its rack member is slid and moved and the reel base is driven to a position corresponding to the small cassette. During the upward movement of the lever 56, the lever is engaged with the recessed part 52 of the other member 59, its rack member is slid and moved and the reel base is driven to a position corresponding to the large cassette.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items of an information detector moving mechanism and to improve the positioning accuracy by moving an information detector along a guide groove formed in a chassis substrate interlocking with a reel base moving mechanism and positioning it. SOLUTION: An information detecting member 50 as an information detector is moved a long a linear guide groove 51 formed in a mechanical chassis 3 associatively with the operation of a reel base moving mechanism. When the information detecting member 50 is moved to a position corresponding to a small tape cassette 4A, its front end part is butted to the groove end part 51a of the guide groove 51, stopped and then positioned. When the information detecting member 50 is moved to a position corresponding to a large tape cassette, its rear end part butts to the stopper 48a of a rack supporting member 48, stopped and then positioned. Thus, the number of part items for the information detector moving mechanism is reduced, an operation is made simple and positioning accuracy is improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel base positioning mechanism capable of highly accurately positioning a reel base with a simple mechanism by butting a positioning pin coaxial to a reel shaft to the end part of a circular-arc hole formed in a substrate so as to perform positioning. SOLUTION: When a reel base supported by the reel base supporting shaft 28 of a reel base holding member 26 is rotated and moved to the corresponding position of a small tape cassette, a positioning shaft pin 30 butts to one hole end part 31a of a circular-arc hole 31 formed in a mechanical chassis 3 and positioned. When the reel base is rotated and moved to the corresponding position of a large tape cassette, the positioning shaft pin 30 butts to the other hold end part 31b of the circular-arc hole 31 and positioned. Thus, by increasing the accuracy of machining the positioning shaft pin 30 and the hole end parts 31a and 31b of the circular-arc hole 31, a pair of reel bases in which supply side and take-up side tape reels are loaded are accurately positioned in the corresponding positions of the small and large tape cassettes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To accurately position tape guides always at the time of completion of loading by constituting so that protruding parts for contact are brought into contact with a chassis at the different protruding part respectively at the time during the loading operation and at the time of completion of the loading operation. CONSTITUTION: A guide base 10 and a guide roller 14 are positioned in such a manner that the protruding parts 28, 28 for contact of the front side formed at the rear surface of a guide base 10 are slid in contact with the chassis 30 by a slide member 8 of the loading mechanism at the time of loading and unloading operations, and the protruding parts 29, 29 for contact of the back side formed at the rear surface of the guide base 10 are brought into contact with the chassis 30 in the state the loading is completed. Consequently, the protruding parts 29, 29 for contact are not worn even the running operation of the slide member 8 is repeated, then the guide roller is always accurately positioned at the time of completion of loading.
