    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform readout of information and writing of information by a method wherein the conductive gates of transistors for readout use and switch use are connected with a first wiring, second and sixth conductive regions are connected with a writing information setting line, a fourth conductive region is connected with a second wiring and the source/drain regions of a transistor for current control use are connected with a prescribed potential. SOLUTION: At the time of writing information, a transistor TR2 for switch use is made to have continuity and is stored in a channel formation region CH1 of a transistor TR1 for readout use in the form of a potential. At the time of reading information, the threshold value of the transistor TR1 is changed depending upon the potential stored in the region CH1 of the transistor TR1 . At the time of the reading information, the information storage state of the transistor TR1 can be decided on the basis of the magnitude (including 0) of a channel current by applying the properly selected potential to a conductive gate. By detecting the operating state of the transistor TR1 , information is read. Accordingly, the reading/writing of information can be reliably performed.

CONSTITUTION:The end face 2A on the light incident side of the optical waveguide 2 is formed at the side inner than the end face 1A of the substrate 1. In other words, when light from the light source of a laser beam, etc., is coupled with the optical guidewave 2, the focal point P of a lens 16 is positioned at the end face 2A of the optical guidewave 2, not at the end face 1A of the substrate 1, and light Li from the light source 17 is focused on the end face 2A of the optical guidewave 2.     CONSTITUTION: When a modulation output signal as a result of the modulation of a high frequency signal by a reproduced video signal is fed to one end of a microstrip 15 of the rotor 11 from a modulator 21, the modulation output signal is fed in one way to the termination of the microstrip 15, transmitted to a microstrip 16 of the stator 12 and demodulated by a demodualtor 26 connected to one end of the microstrip 16. The directional coupler formed with the microstip lines shows the signal transmission characteristic with a specific band width of ≥10% in this way. thus, in transmitting a high frequency signal whose frequency is nearly 10GHz after demodulating by the reproduced video signal, the very wide signal transmission characteristic of several 100MHz or so is attained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessary components and to obtain stable oscillation, by providing a converter having a reed screen electrode and a pair of reflectors for the major plane of a piezoelectric substrate and forming a sound absorbing layer at a side along the propagation direction of the reflectors. CONSTITUTION:A converter 3 having a reed screen electrode 2 vapor-deposited aluminum on one major plane of, e.g. YLiNbO3 crystal plate 1 as a piezoelectric substrate is provided. Further, a pair of reflectors 5 and 6 consisting of a plurality of stripe electrodes 4 located at both sides toward the propagating direction of a surface acoustic wave from the converter 3 are formed. Moreover, a sound absorbing layer 7 is formed at least at both sides along the propagating direction of the reflectors 5 and 6. The layer 7 can be formed continuously as dotted lines 7'. As the sound absorbing layer, positive type photoresist, negative type photoresist, polyurethane and silicon rubber can be used.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the intermediate frequency signal output in a good balance without using the phase inverse output transformer and by using a pair of the surface elastic wave filters in which the input/output characteristics features the same phase at one side and the opposite phase at the other each. CONSTITUTION:A pair of output featuring the opposite phase to each other is supplied from double-balance type mixer circuit K to a pair of surface elastic wave filters 31 and 32 possessing the intermediate frequency pass band each. The input/ output characteristics of filters 31 and 32 are selected so that the same phase may be secured at one side and the opposite phase at the other side each, and each output is added together to obtain the intermediate frequency signal. In other words, filter 30 composed of a pair of filters 31 and 32 possesses the function of the intermediate frequency band pass filter plus the function of the phase inverse output transformer which adds the two input signals with phase inversion. Thus the transformer can be omitted.
