    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a film improving moldability, shock resistance and a property of keeping taste and smell and being suitable for sticking on a metal by a method wherein the degree of orientation in the crosswise direction intersecting the lengthwise direction of the film perpendicularly and the degree of orientation in the lenghtwise direction of the film and the crosswise direction in the central part of the direction of the thickness of the film are controlled to be in a specified relationship.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a slippery film free from falling of particles and scratch defect by providing a composite layer which has both organic particles having a shell-core structure of dimension specified in means particle diameter and water-soluble or water-dispersible resin as a main component on at least one side of a biaxially oriented film. CONSTITUTION:A slippery film is constituted by providing a composite layer which has both organic particles having a shell-core structure of 0.002-8.0mum mean particle diameter and water-soluble or water-dispersible resin as a main component on at least one side of a biaxially oriented film. When the mean particle diameter D is smaller than 0.002mum, slip properties are insufficient. On the other hand, when it is larger than 8.0mum, this case is not preferable because falling of particles is remarkable. When D/T being the ratio of mean particle diameter D of the organic particles and thickness T of the composite layer is regulated within a range of 1.1-80, slippery properties are more enhanced. Further this case is made more preferable because falling of particles is not remarkable. In such a way, since the particles having the shell-core structure are utilized, a flaw and a while spot are drastically reduced without deteriorating slip characteristics. The film good in the surface state can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance transparency and easy slidability and to prevent the generation of a Newton ring by using particles of a specific org. polymer as particles added to a coating layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer based on org. polymer particles having a refractive index of 1.2 - 1.8 and a water-soluble or water-dispersible resin is provided to at least the single surface of a polyester film and the ratio (D/d) of the mean particle size D of the org. polymer particles and the thickness (d) of a coating layer is set to a range of 1.1 - 8.0 and the mean particle size D of the org. polymer particles is set to 0.8mum or more and the addition amount thereof is set to 0.1 - 20wt.%. Further, the center line mean roughness of the outer surface of the coating layer is set to 0.2mum. As the org. polymer particles, particles of a divinyl benzene/styrene copolymer (crosslinked), polyimide and a silicone resin are designated. The water-soluble or water-dispersible resin may be dissolved or dispersed in water and a urethane resin, a polyester resin, polyvinyl alcohol, a vinyl resin, a copolymer thereof and an acrylic resin can be designated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of a resin layer and a base material film and to improve moisture resistant adhesiveness in particular by applying a water soluble or water dispersible resin on a specific polyester film stretching the film under specific conditions in a uniaxial direction to have the degree of orientation of the resin layer under the specific conditions, and then providing antistatic layer on such layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording layer is provided on the polyester film which has the composite layer formed by providing the antistatic layer on the water soluble or water dispersible resin layer having 0.03 to 0.6 degree of orientation and 0.001 to 3.0mum thickness on at least one surface and has >=0.5 optical density and >=80% whiteness. The polyester constituting the polyester film to be used consists of at least one kind of structural units selected from ethylene tere-phthalate, etc., as its main constituting component. The cleavage resistance of the resin layer and the adhesiveness, more particularly the moisture resistant adhesiveness of the base material polyester film and the resin layer or the resin layer and the printed layer or the magnetic layer are improved in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated film being excellent in flexibility, material to be applied by durability and adhesion strength to a providing as an intermediate layer a composition layer formed of a specific graft copolymer and a crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:A laminate is formed of a polyester film A, a resin layer B which is laminated at least on one surface of the polyester film A, whose main constituents are a copolymer obtained by grafting a compound having an unsaturated bond onto hydrophilic-group-containing polyester resin and a crosslinking agent and wherein the grafting rate of the copolymer is 0.5 to 600%, and an active linear-crosslinked-type acrylic resin layer C. This layer may be formed otherwise, by a chlorine-containing resin layer D or a photosensitive photographic emulsion layer F or an active linear or thermocrosslinked type silicone resin layer G provided on the surface of the resin layer B. When the grafting rate is lower than 0.5%, moisture resistance is deteriorated. When the rate exceeds 600%, application properties are deteriorated and the adhesion strength between a modification layer and a base lowers. When as the crosslinking bonding agent, an isocyanate crosslinking agent, a melamine crosslinking agent, a urea crosslinking agent or an epoxy crosslinking agent is used, a large crosslinking effect is exhibited and is preferable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive improvements in bondability of the title film to a conductive layer, resistor layer, insulation layer and printing ink layer, by providing a predetermined coating layer on a biaxially stretched polyester film which has been made a specific center line mean roughness. CONSTITUTION:A biaxially stretched polyester film having centerline mean roughness of 0.02-0.50mum is manufactured by adding inorganic particles (a) to polyester. A coating layer on the surface of the film is formed of the inorganic particles (a) and an ingredient mainly composed of a crosslinked polyester copolymer (b). In the case where a crosslinkable polyester copolymer obtained by grafting acrylic macromer as a polyester copolymer (b), it is preferable to use acrylic resin especially aqueous dispersion acrylic resin. It is preferable if a mean particle diameter (D) of the inorganic particles (a) falls within a range of 0.08-2.2mum and D/d falls within a range of 1.1-80 in relation to a thickness (d) of a coating layer. Then, as the coating layer is applied at least to one side of the polyester film, being stretched and heat treatment is performed, it becomes that thin and uniform coating is possible and crosslinking of the polyester copolymer progresses rapidly and highly.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance transparency, an easy slip property, easy adhesiveness and smoothness, by applying a water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic resin containing specific inorg. colloid to a polyester film to stretch said film and bringing the particle size of the inorg colloid particle and a lamination thickness to specific correlation. CONSTITUTION:Inorg. colloid contains 10 -10 atoms/one particle and is obtained as metal colloid, oxide colloid or hydroxide colloid according to an element. The average particle size thereof is pref. 0.11-0.4mum. A water- dispersible or water-soluble acrylic resin is based on alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate and pref. contains 30-90 mol.% of said main component and 70-10 mol.% of a vinyl monomer component copolymerizable therewith and having a functional group. The haze (turbidity) of the polyester film constituting this film is pref. 4.0% or less and the ratio D/d of the average particle size D of the inorg. colloid particle in a coating layer and the thickness (d) of said coating layer is set to 1.1-80.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a film superior in mold release properties, process stability and aging in a quality, by a method wherein a layer obtained through a mixed body of a swellable, inorganic layer silicate, water-soluble resin or water dispersible resin and water-soluble oil or water-dispersible oil whose weight ratio is specific is provided on the surface of a plastic film. CONSTITUTION:A film for mold release is manufactured by a method wherein fine particle piece dispersion base in a non-agglomerated state is made by dispersing swellable, inorganic layer silicate (a) in water or in a water souble organic solvent, with which water-soluble resin or water-dispersible resin (b) and water-soluble or water-dispersible oil (c) are added and mixed up each other, and an obtained dispersion solution is applied onto at least one surface of a plastic film. Water, alcohol or their mixture are preferable as a solvent. In this case, a weight ratio (a/b) between the (a) and (b) is made 1/10 -2/1, and mixing is performed by making a weight ratio (a/c) between the (a) and (c) and a weight ratio (c/b) between the (c) and (b) respectively 1/20-50/1 and 1/100-5/1.
