    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a conjugate spinning spinneret capable of realizing stable conjugate state and of forming many conjugate flows, that is, capable of facilitating densification of spinning nozzles and arbiturarily setting the laminating direction for the relevant conjugate fiber. CONSTITUTION: This conjugate spinning spinneret is made up of an upper plate 1, a lower plate 2 set up with a space 4 under the upper plate 1, and a composite plate 3 set up following the lower plate 2, being so designed that plural tubes 5 are provided penetratedly through the upper plate 1, space 4 and the lower plate 2 and fixed on both the upper plate 1 and the lower plate 2, the lower plate 2 is afforded with distribution holes 6 to mutually connect the space 4 and the composite plate 3 between the mutually adjacent tubes 5, the tubes 5 opened on the upper surface of the upper plate 1 and the space 4 between the upper plate 1 and the lower plate 2 communicate with separate dope feed sources, respectively. The composite plate 3 has the tube 5 opened at the lower face of the lower plate 2 and a groove 7 which communicates two flow channels of the distribution holes 6 and a delivery port 8, and the respective openings of the tube 5 and the distribution hole 6 are provided within the projected plane for the groove 7.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing ultrafine polyester filaments having sufficient mechanical properties and a sufficient thermal shrinkage constant, not having dyeing irregularity, and good in a soft property by a low cost one process method in good fiber productivity. CONSTITUTION:This method for spinning and drawing ultrafine polyester filaments having a single filament fineness of 1.4 denier comprises extruding a melted polyester from a spinneret 1, cooling and solidifying the extruded filaments, bundling the filaments at a position apart in a distance of (m) ((d) is the fineness of the finest single filament among the filaments) below the spinneret, taking up the filaments with a non-heated first godet roller 5 at a take-up rate of 2000-3500m/min without winding up the filaments, heating and drawing the filaments with a first thermally treating device 6 having a steam atmosphere of atmospheric pressure and set between the first godet roller 5 and a non-heated second godet roller, thermally treating the drawn filaments with a second thermal treating device 8, and subsequently winding up the filaments.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a method for plasma treatment of continuous materials capable of uniformly treating at a low cost of installation of electric source.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain firm plating so that the plating film is hardly peeled by irradiating a body with low temp. plasma to remove the matrix resin component in the surface part to expose carbon fiber and then plating the fiber. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a plastic molded body containing carbon fiber 2 is irradiated with low temp. plasma to remove the matrix resin component 1 in the surface part and to expose the carbon fiber 2. Then the body is plated to obtain a carbon fiber reinforced plastic molded body with metallized surface. The weight DELTAW (g/cm ) of the matrix resin component per unit area removed by irradiation of low temp. plasma satisfies the inequality I. In the inequality I, R is the volume content (%) of the matrix resin component, H is the depth (cm) of the matrix resin component, and D is the average diameter (cm) of the carbon fiber. Thereby, the pretreatment for plating with a one-step and, inexpensive work can be provided without causing environmental pollution.
