Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a blade in a blade groove of a rotor and form the blade groove into a satisfactory shape, without damaging the groove bottom of the blade groove and the blade. SOLUTION: A blade 2 of a bladed rotor 1 of an axial-flow turbomachine has a shoulder part 6 between a blade 2a and blade roots 2b fixed in a plurality of annular blade grooves 11. The profile of the cross section of the blade groove is shaped symmetrically with respect to its symmetrical plane by a plurality of radii R1 to R4 which follows sequentially. The each radius closer to the symmetrical plane of the two radii which follow sequentially is larger than the radius which is more remote from the symmetrical plane, and two circular arcs following sequentially from among circular arcs 21 to 24 formed by these radii have a common tangent T at their contact points.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the operation of an entire device from stoppages, even if one or more semiconductor switch chips fail by a method, wherein the connection wire of the switch chip causing a short-circuit is intentionally cut off. SOLUTION: Respective phases 6.1-6.2 of a power converting circuit 1 have at least two switches 2 respectively, and each switch 2 is composed of a switch module 14. If it is detected that one module has a defect, all the switch modules 14 of the respective phases 6.1-6.3 are turned off. Then, the module 14 of, for instance, the phase 6.1 connected to the terminal 7 of a DC voltage source 5 is turned on. It the short-circuit exists in the module of the same phase connected to a terminal 8, all the currents is applied to a connection wire 3 of the defective chip, and the connection wire 3 is cut off. As a result, the defective chip 4 is isolated electrically from the other parts of the module.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the useful life longevity of bladed rotor components by setting a first radius of curvature smaller than a second radius of curvature both adjacent to a supporting surface and setting at a specific value the opening angle between the supporting surface and a tangent to a circle arc described by the first radius of curvature at each end point of the supporting surface. SOLUTION: A supporting surface F produced during rotation of a drum rotor 1 because of the centrifugal acceleration of moving blades is interposed between rotationally symmetric indentations 21 and 10 of the respective drum rotor 1 and moving blades. The supporting surface F is described by end points A and B and an inclination 12 relative to a line 6 parallel to the longitudinal axis of the moving blades. A straight line T passing the end point A of the supporting surface F meets the supporting surface F at an opening angle W of at least forty degrees. The straight line T tangentially adjoins an A-C circle arc 22 with a first radius of curvature R1 and with a center point located on a perpendicular to the straight line T. The other end point C of the A-C circle arc 22 connects to a C-D straight line 23 that is tangential to it and at the same time tangential to a D-E circle arc 24 of a second radius of curvature R2. The second radius of curvature R2 is larger than the first radius of curvature R1.

Further, the counter-member corresponding to the connecting member 8 is formed on the casing 1 as a fixed rib having a receiving area.

A part of the high-pressure steam 10 to be supplied to the injector 5a is branched and supplied to the drive nozzle of another injector 5b, and the high-pressure steam is injected in a burner 100 of a combustor 6 from the injector 5b together with a liquid fuel 112 to burn the mixture to an optimum in the combustor 6.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the dynamic cage stress by setting the ratio of the diameter of a cylindrical roller to the diameter of the bearing pitch circle of a cylindrical roller bearing to be a specific small value. CONSTITUTION: An inner ring 11 of a cylindrical roller bearing 10 is coupled with a turbocharger shaft 15 through an inner bearing bush 13. An outer ring 12 of the cylindrical roller bearing 10 is supported in a soft sheet packet 16 through an outer bearing bush 14. A ratio of the diameter d of the cylindrical roller to the diameter D of the bearing pitch circle is set to be 0.2. The size of a rolling element comprising a roller becomes relatively small, and the size of the inner ring and the outer ring of the bearing can be relatively larger than the conventional dimension of the inner and outer bearing bushes 13, 14. Since the rolling element is relatively small, the mass is small, and thus, the cage stress can be reduced, and the weight of the structure of a cage can be reduced.

The emitter layer 7 is bored by anode short-circuit regions 8 which short-circuit the base layer 6 with the anode 1. Between the anode short circuit regions 8 and the p-types emitter layer 7, a p-type barrier layer 9 is disposed and has gaps 12 which the base layer 6 contacts directly or through the regions 8 by the anode 1. This realizes adequate voltage sustaining capability even at high temps.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To stabilize flame without forming any violent backflow zone on the axis and without requiring any flame holder by introducing fuel and combustion air at the head side of a mixing section, increasing the current velocity of the mixture gas and forming a hot wall boundary layer and a core of cold gas flow inside the combustion section. CONSTITUTION: A fuel 5 and combustion air 4 are introduced at the head side of a mixing section 3 to form a mixture and current velocity of the mixture 6 is increased in the mixing section 3 in order to prevent self-ignition and flashback from an ignition zone 9. Furthermore, a hot wall boundary layer and a core of cold gas flow are formed inside the combustion section 13 in order to form a conical reaction zone 11 in the flow direction toward the axis 12 of symmetry of a premixing burner 1. Since fuel mixing takes place at a part of highest current velocity in a passage forming the premixing burner 1, quick mixture of fuel 5 and combustion air 4 is guaranteed.
