Abstract: 구동 특성을 향상시킬 수 있는 액정표시장치가 개시되어 있다. 액정표시장치는 화소 기판, 대향 기판, 제1 콘택 부재, 제2 콘택 부재 및 액정층을 포함한다. 화소 기판은 화소부, 게이트 구동부 및 유지 전압 라인을 포함한다. 화소부는 게이트 라인들, 게이트 라인들과 절연되어 교차하는 데이터 라인들 및 유지 전극 라인들을 포함한다. 게이트 구동부는 화소부에 인접한 제1 주변 영역에 형성된다. 유지 전압 라인은 제1 주변 영역에 수직한 제2 주변 영역에 형성되며, 유진 전극 라인들과 전기적으로 연결된다. 대향 기판은 화소 기판과 마주하는 면에 형성된 공통 전극을 포함한다. 제1 콘택 부재는 화소 기판에 인가된 공통 전압을 공통 전극으로 전달한다. 제2 콘택 부재는 공통 전극에 전달된 공통 전압을 유지 전압 라인에 전달한다. 따라서, 유지 전압 라인의 구조를 변경하여 게이트 구동부의 구동 특성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
