Abstract:
The present invention relates to a haptic device for exercising upper limbs. The device can be utilized in medical, game, and robot fields. The device allows a user to exercise his or her upper limbs using a vertical exercise unit and a horizontal exercise unit including swivel wheels and improves portability. Moreover, the device providing a haptic function to stimulate muscular sensation and tactile sensation by controlling the device by receiving a feedback signal on the operation of the device.
Abstract:
The content of the present invention includes an input link which is connected with a driver at one end thereof and is rotated by the driver in one direction; a first displacement sensor which is provided at the other end of the input link and controls the rotation displacement of the input link and the driver; multiple first magnetic substances which are connected by the input link and a connection member and rotate in the same direction as the rotation direction of the input link; multiple second magnetic substances which are provided between the multiple first magnetic substances; an output link which is rotated by the first magnetic substances and the second magnetic substances; and a second displacement sensor which is closely attached to one surface of the output link and measures the rotation displacement of the output link. The connection member provides includes a cylindrical body having a penetration hole for the input link; and multiple connection units connected with the multiple first magnetic substances. Therefore, an external force supplied from the outside can be measured without using the conventional equipment with a complex structure and a larger volume such as a load cell and a strength gauge. By the simple structure, the torque measuring apparatus can be compact and lightweight to be conveniently used by directly applying to rotational shafts of various medical apparatuses, industrial machines, and tools.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A portable occupational therapy apparatus for hand rehabilitation, a method thereof, and a device including a smartphone application for the same are provided to enable people with damaged or paralyzed hand function to take rehabilitation training more conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A portable occupational therapy apparatus for hand rehabilitation includes multiple relative position sensors(220,221) measuring relative finger movements by sensing either finger position information or the acceleration information according to a finger movement; multiple vibrators(220,221) providing vibration to fingers; and an interface(230) receiving vibrator control command from a mobile terminal, based on either the location information or the acceleration information.
