Abstract:
The present invention is related to new compounds, GERI-BP001 (C27H33NO5) which is acyl-CoA: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) inhibitor separated from fungus Aspergillus fumigatus FM-F-37 isolated from the earth and its derivatives and to the method for preparation therof. The GERI-BP001 and its derivatives, GERI-BP001-A and GERI-BP001-B are useful for the treatment of hyperlipemia by inhibiting cholesterol trasferase in blood. The GERI-BP001 together its derivatives, GERI-BP001-A and GERI-BP001-B are separated and purified from cultures of Aspergillus sp. strains including Aspergillus fumigatus FM-F-37, GERI-BP001-C can be prepared chemically from GERI-BP001-A by means of nucleophilic substitution reactions.

본 발명은 디오스민(diosmin)을 포함하는 동맥경화증 및 고지혈증의 예방 및 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 디오스민은 동물에게 투여되었을 때 동맥내피에 대식세포-지질 복합체가 침착되는 것을 강력히 억제할 뿐만 아니라, ACAT 및 HMG-CoA 환원효소의 활성을 억제하고, 혈중 콜레스테롤 및 중성지질의 농도를 감소시키므로, 동맥경화증 및 고지혈증의 예방 및 치료제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A composition containing the extract of jujube and the extract of citrus rind is provided for improving lipid metabolism and lowering blood pressure, so that it can prevent liver diseases, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, hyperlipemia and cancer. CONSTITUTION: The composition contains 0.1 to 5g/weight kg/day of the extract of jujube and 0.1 to 10g/weight kg/day of the extract of citrus rind in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 100:1, in which the extract of jujube is produced by adding 2 to 5 liter of 70 to 95% ethanol into 1 kg of jujube, and extracting them at 50 to 60deg.C for 1 to 24 hours, or by adding 2 to 5 liter of water into 1 kg of citrus rind, and extracting them at 70 to 121deg.C for 30 minutes to 12 hours; the extract of citrus rind is produced by drying citrus rind, adding 3 to 30 liter of 20 to 95% ethanol into 1kg of dried rind, extracting them at 25 to 80deg.C for 1 to 12 hours, filtering the extract, and condensing it under reduced pressure, wherein citrus includes orange, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit or citron.

PURPOSE: A hypotensive composition containing a bioflavonoid compound is provided to use itself as a therapeutic agent for glycosemia or as a health food. CONSTITUTION: A hypotensive composition comprises an effective amount, preferably, 0.01-50 wt.% of bioflavonoid of formula (1) and a pharmaceutical acceptable carrier thereof. The flavonoids consist in citrus fruits such as orange, lemon, citron, grapefruit and the like. The composition containing the flavonoid compounds is useful to treat glycosemia. To drop the blood sugar level, the flavonoid compound of formula (1) can be added to foods, for example meats, beverages, snacks, chocolates etc. In the formula (1), R1 is OH, rutinosyl or rhaminosyl group; R2 is H, OH or rutinosyl group; R3 is H or OH group; R4 is OH or methoxy group; X is single bond or double bond.
