Disclosed is an apparatus for synchronizing stereoscopic images. The apparatus comprises a similarity calculation unit for calculating a similarity between a left image frame and a right image frame or similarity between blocks based on any one frame or frame block of a left image of a stereoscopic image or a right image of the stereoscopic image; a frame difference extraction unit for extracting a frame difference between the left image and the right image based on the calculated similarity between the frames; and a frame synchronization correction unit for synchronizing the left image and the right image by correcting the extracted frame difference.

The present invention relates to a 3DTV service providing method based on declarative content and a device thereof. The 3DTV service providing method comprises the following steps: receiving 3DTV content containing declarative content; setting a stereo view volume for arranging multimedia factors of the declarative content in a 3D space based on information on stereoscopic structure included in the declarative content; dividing the multimedia factors of the declarative content according to factor or meaning; producing a scene after arranging the divided multimedia factors in the stereo view volume; acquiring a left eye image and a right eye image for the scene based on the virtual left eye and right eye cameras inside of the stereo view volume; and providing a stereoscopic 3DTV service for a user by stereoscopic-rendering the left eye and right eye images. The declarative content includes at least one among the information comprising stereoscopic structure such as the view point information, view volume setting information, or disparity information.
Abstract:
A method for synthesizing a multi-view image using two-dimensional disparities is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: searching corresponding pixels with respect to respective pixels in a left image and a right image to draw two-dimensional disparities, and generating a two-dimensional disparity map, based on two-dimensional disparities of the respective corresponding pixels; and combining a warped left image obtained by moving the respective pixels in the left image with a warped right image obtained by moving the respective pixels in the right image, based on the two-dimensional disparity map, to generate at least one intermediate image. The two-dimensional disparities consist of horizontal disparities and vertical disparities. The warped left image is obtained by moving the respective pixels in the left image, based on the number of the intermediate images. The warped right image is obtained by moving the respective pixels in the right image, based on the number of the intermediate images.

The holographic recording apparatus includes a light source unit which emits a light source, a light source separating unit which separates an object beam and a reference beam from the light source and emits the separated beams to a light refraction medium, an image obtaining unit which obtains an image of the object beam based on the object beam reflected and emitted to the light refraction medium and obtains an image of an interference pattern formed by emitting the object beam and the reference beam to the light refraction medium, and a detecting unit which detects whether the object beam is matched with the reference beam based on the image of the interference pattern and the image of the object beam.

The present invention relates to a broadcasting system and a broadcasting method for providing a multi-image screen. A broadcasting transmission apparatus for providing a multi-image screen according to the present specification comprises: a multi-image generation unit for dividing an obtained image into a first image and a second image; a first image encoder for encoding the first image; a second image encoder for encoding the second image; a multiplexing unit for multiplexing the encoded first and second images into a single stream image; and a transmission unit for modulating the multiplexed single stream image and transmitting the modulated image to a reception apparatus over a broadcasting network.

A content control system of a display unit according to the present invention includes a display unit which displays content; and a content control unit which is connected to the display unit and controls the content based on the movement of a client by photographing the movement of the client who watches the content. The present invention improves the viewing convenience of a client by enabling the control of content even though the client is not positioned within the camera photographing range of the display unit.

본 발명은 LASeR 서비스 제공시 글로벌 ID를 활용하여 다른 SAF 세션에 존재하는 요소 스트림을 참조하는 방법, 장치 및 그 서비스 제공 장치를 개시한다. 기존 LASeR와 SAF 구조의 변환없이 서로 다른 SAF 세션을 사용하는 요소 스트림을 메인 스트림에서 참조하기 위하여, 요소 스트림에 대한 글로벌 스트림 ID 정보를 LASeR 서비스 제공의 메인 스트림에서 참조 값으로 사용하는 구성을 포함한다. 이는 기존의 LASeR 장면 기술에서의 글로벌 ID를 이용하는 것으로 별도의 구성이나 장치의 변화 없이 다른 SAF 세션의 위치한 스트림을 효과적으로 참조할 수 있게 한다.
