Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an aluminum lower arm of a vehicle is provided to considerably reduce the number of working processes, improve the degree of recovery and physical property, cut down manufacturing cost, and improve tensile and yield strengths and elongation rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an aluminum lower arm of a vehicle is composed of steps of extruding a continuous casting bar for forging aluminum into a preform; cutting the extruded preform in the shape of the lower arm; heating the cut preform to easily perform an exactly beating process; forging the heated preform by roughly and exactly beating the preform; and trimming, processing and assembling the forged preform. The rough and exact beating in the forging step is executed once.

CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of rocker arm(50) using thixoforming comprises melting step of melting aluminum alloy into melt in a melting furnace(10); electronic agitation step in which the melt is agitated by an electromagnetic field in an electronic agitator(20); reheating step of reheating a semi-solidified billet(30) obtained by electronic agitation; and molding step of pressing the heat treated semi-solidified billet onto a mold(41) of an injection molding machine(40), wherein the semi-solidified billet(30) is A356 billet, wherein the semi-solidified billet(30) has a diameter of 3 inches and a length of 90 millimeters, and wherein the reheating step is a step of maintaining the heated semi-solidified billet(30) for 6 minutes in the state that the semi-solidified billet(30) obtained by electronic agitation is rapidly heated to 573 deg.C.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A die casting device and a producing method thereof are provided to perform a semi-solid forming for obtaining a product having a uniform physical property without pores. CONSTITUTION: A die casting device contains a heating container (20) storing a specific amount of molten liquid, and a pressing instrument (30) cooling the molten liquid from the heating container for supplying a die formed by a fixed die (10a) and a movable die (10b). Herein, heaters (23) and cooling apparatuses (24) are installed on the heating container. In discharging the molten liquid through an outlet (21), the liquid is cooled for a first time. The molten liquid is supplied to a die by the pressing instrument according to manipulation of a blocking unit (22). Herein, the pressing instrument is formed by a cylinder typed main body (31) connecting to the die, a plunger (32) installed in the main body, and a cooling unit (33) installed at the main body. The plunger contains agitating protrusion (36) on a front surface of a piston (35) contacting with the main body for pressing and agitating the molten liquid charged in the main body.
