Abstract:
The invention relates to copolymers containing the following as copolymerised monomers: (A) at least one ethylenically unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid; (B) at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound which has at least one structural unit of general formula I per molecule, the variables being defined as follows: R 1 is different or identical and is selected from hydrogen, C 1 -C 30 alkyl, C 6 -C 30 aryl and C 7 -C 30 aralkyl; A 1 is different or identical and selected from C 2 -C 10 alkene, C 6 -C 10 arylene and C 7 -C 10 aralkylene, n is different or identical and selected from zero to 200, m is different or identical and selected from 1 to 6; and (C) at least one other comonomer.
Abstract:
The invention relates to amino alkyl vinyl ethers of the formula (I): H2C = CH - O - X - NH - [Al-]n - H containing alkylene imine units, where [Al-]n denotes a linear or branched oligoalkylene imine chain having n alkylene imine units, n is a number of at least 1, and X denotes a straight-chained or branched C2- to C6-alkylene group, and to salts of the monomers I with mineral acids or organic acids, and quaternation products of the monomers I with alkyl halogenides or dialkyl sulfates, to a method for producing the compounds of the formula (I) by the addition of alkylene imines to amino-C2-to C6-alkyl vinyl ethers, and to the use of the amino alkyl vinyl ethers of the formula (I) containing alkylene imine units as monomers to produce polymers for use in the paper industry, as antimicrobial coating agents, in detergents, and for treating metal surfaces.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to selectively constructed highly-branched or hyper-branched polyester based on mono-, di-, tri- or polycarbon acids or derivatives thereof and mono-, di-, tri-, tetra- or polyols, a method for the production thereof, and the application thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composite material comprising at least one polyurethane and at least one further solid, wherein the polyurethane comprises a hyperbranched polymer and the thickness of the polyurethane material is 0.1 mm and greater. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing composite materials of this type and to the use of hyperbranched polymers as a constituent part of a polyurethane to improve the adhesion between the polyurethane and at least one further solid.
