Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-storing gel which has a relatively large heat absorp tion capacity, is soft, and does not cause excessive cooling when used as an antipyretic agent for human bodies. SOLUTION: This gel is prepared by dispersing microcapsules comprising shells and a latent-heat-storing agent contained therein in a gel formed from an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer (e.g. carboxymethyl cellulose) and sealing the resultant product into a bag formed from a soft synthetic resin sheet. A latent-heat-storing agent having a phase transition point of about 5-20 deg.C is used.

SOLUTION: An ink holder consists of an ink passing material and the ink absorbing material brought into contact therewith and both of the ink passing material and the ink absorbing material comprise soft polyurethane foam and the ink passing material is composed of a material obtained by adding a surfactant to the soft polyurethane foam produced by using a foamable raw material containing a polyol, an isocyanate, a catalyst and a foaming agent and the ink absorbing material is obtained by thermally compressing the soft polyurethane foam by 2-20 times by a hot press and adding a surfactant to the compressed foam.
