    Abstract: The invention relates to a contact for an electrical connector protected by a polymer film and its fabrication method. This contact (3 or 7) possesses a contact resistance of at most 10 ohms and it comprises a base metal covered with an organic polymer film which is homogeneous and adherent and from 5 to 500 nm thick.
