Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent which ensures cleaning and sterilization simultaneously by blending an inorg. peroxide, a cationic sterilizer and a foaming agent comprising a carbonate or a bicarbonate and a solid acid. SOLUTION: (A) An inorg. peroxide is selected from the group consisting of sodium percarbonate, potassium percarbonate, sodium perborate, potassium perborate, potassium monopersulfate, sodium monopersulfate and a sodium sulfate-sodium chloride-hydrogen peroxide adduct. (B) As a cationic sterilizer enumerated are a cationic surfactant type steritizer, a biguanide type sterilizer and an amino acid type surfactant and the like. (C) As a carbonate or a bicarbonate, an ammonium salt of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal is pref. and as a solid acid, an org. acid is pref. With 100 pts.wt. of component A are generally blended 0.5-300 pts.wt. of component B and 5-800 pts.wt. of component C. It is also possible to blend a metal chelating agent, a surfactant and, in particular, a nonionic surfactant.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject low irritative composition having excellent adhesivity to insect pests, capable of enhancing the permeability of an insecticidal ingredient to surely kill the insect pests by combining the insecticidal ingredient with a solvent and a quaternary ammonium salt having a specific counter ion. SOLUTION: This insecticide composition for domestic use contains a quaternary ammonium salt of formula I (R1 is an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkyl- substituted aryloxyalkylene, an acylaminoalkylene, an acyloxyalkylene; R2 -R4 are each a group of formula II, a group of formula III, an alkyl, etc.; AO is an oxyalkylene; n1 -n4 are 0-30; X- is a counter anion, a phosphate ester, a phosphoric acid residue, etc.), an insecticidal ingredient and a solvent as essential components. The insecticidal component is preferably a pyrethroidal insecticidal ingredient. The solvent is preferably water, a lower alcohol, or an aliphatic hydrocarbon. The counter anion X is preferably a phosphate ester ion having an alkyl or alkenyl group. A propellant may further be added to the system. The composition can also kill zapro phytes carried with the insect pests as media, and is safe for men and pets.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the composition free from the loss of softening activity even in the presence of an anionic substance by compounding a cationic surfactant-type softener with a metal-chelating agent at more than a specific molar ratio based on the softener. CONSTITUTION:A softener composition, free from the loss of softening activity even in the presence of an anionic substance and capable of imparting a fiber product with excellent softness, is obtained by compounding a cationic surfactant, optionally a softener composed of a quaternary ammonium salt with a metal-chelating agent (preferably, e.g. ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid and tripolyphosphoric acid salt) at the molar ratio of >=0.5 based on the softener. The composition can be compounded with an anionic substance. An example of the anionic substance is, e.g. a common higher fatty acid salt, higher alcohol sulfate ester salt or higher alcohol sulfonic acid salt.
