    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve an electrostatic charge characteristic and mechanical wear characteristic without degrading sensitivity and increasing a residual potential and to improve environmental stability and cleanability by incorporating the reaction product of epoxy modified silicone and active hydrogen-contg. binder into a surface layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer is a layer contg. the reaction product of the epoxy modified silicone and the active hydrogen-contg. binder and is provided on the surface of the photosensitive body. Then, the photosensitive layer is the surface layer in the case of the single layer type photosensitive body and the layer provided on the surface of either a charge generating layer or charge transfer layer is the surface layer in the case of the laminated photosensitive body. The reaction curing of the epoxy modified silicone and the active hydrogen-contg. binder is induced at the time of drying after application of a coating liquid and the reaction product is incorporated into the surface layer at the time of forming the surface layer. Then, the silicone is not liberated, therefore, the mechanical wear characteristic of the photosensitive body is improved. Since the silicone are present in a specified amt. in the surface layer at all times, the electrostatic charge characteristic is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a rinsing agent composition free from the lowering of cationic surfactant activity even in the coexistence of a material having an anionic charge and capable of sufficiently exhibiting the characteristic function. CONSTITUTION:A rinsing agent composition contains (A) a cationic surfactant, optionally a quaternary ammonium salt of formula I or II [at least one of R to R and at least one of R and R are alkyl or alkenyl which may be replaced with alkoxyl, alkenyloxy, alkanoylamino, alkenoylamino, alkanoyloxy or alkenoyloxy having the total carbon number of 8-28 and the rests are benzyl, 1-5C alkyl, l-5C hydroxyalkyl or (R O)mH (R is 2-3C alkylene; (m)=1-20)] and (B) >=0.5 time mole (based on the component A), especially 1-2 times mole of chelate, e.g. ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, citric acid or tripolyphosphoric acid.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the composition not suffering from a decrease in the activity of the constituent cationic sterilizer even in the presence of a negatively charged substance and excelling in detergency by mixing a cationic sterilizer with a metal chelating agent and a nonionic surfactant and/or an amphoteric surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises a cationic sterilizer (a), a metal chelating agent (b) in an amount 0.5 time by moles that of component (a) and a nonionic surfactant and/or an amphoteric surfactant (c). Component (a) is used in an amount of desirably 0.5-5wt.% based on the total composition, and component (c) is used in an amount of desirably 5-50wt.% based on the total composition. Desirable examples of component (b) used include ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, hydroxyethyethylenediaminetriacetic acid and citric acid. Desirable examples of component (c) used include alkylpolyglycoside and alkyldimethylamino fatty acid betaine.
