    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the subject compound useful as a coupling substance to be added to corneal fiber-dyeing compositions, and giving the composition capable of dyeing the corneal fibers such as hair into a blue color tone in a high chroma and excellent in the dyeability, discoloration resistance and washing resistance. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I (R , R are H, lower alkyl capable of being substituted with an OH group; Ar is substitutable aryl; m is 0-4; n is 1-4; l is 0, 1) or its salt, for example, 1,2-bis-(3,5-diamino-2-pyridyloxy)ethane.4 hydrochloride. The compound is obtained e.g. by reacting a 2-halogeno-3,5- dinitropyridine of formula II (X is halogen) with an aryl-substituted metal alkoxide of formula III (M is alkali metal; Ar' is Ar) in a solvent such as THF at a temperature of -5 deg.C to the boiling point of the solvent and subsequently reducing the product in the presence of a catalyst such as palladium carbon catalyst.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a novel benzoxazine derivative or a salt thereof having good dyeability, light resistance, discoloration resistance, washing resistance and abrasion resistance, and useful as a coupling substance capable of giving a color tone having a high chroma. CONSTITUTION:A benzoxazine derivative of formula 1 (R is lower alkyl; X is 0 or two H atoms) or a salt thereof, e.g. 3,4-dihydro-6-hydroxy-7-methyl-2H-1,4- benzoxazine. A benzoxazine derivative of formula 2 (R is alkyl sulfonyl, aryl sulfonyl) or a salt thereof as an intermediate, e.g. 5'-amino-4'-hydroxy-2' methylphenylmethane sulfonate. The compounds of formulas 1 and 2 are produced as follows; reducing a compound of formula 3, reacting the produced compound of formula 4 with an alpha-halogenoacetic acid or a reactive derivative thereof in the presence of a base, and subsequently hydrolyzing the ring-closed compound of formula 2 into the compound of formula 1a, or further reducing the compound of formula 2a and subsequently hydrolyzing the produced compound of formula 2b into the compound of formula 1b.

The first agent and the second agent are separately received in the resin-made flexible containers, respectively, stored in the outer can of the aerosol container, and are simultaneously discharged.
