Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which gives suitable slippiness to articles to be washed on hand-washing carried out at home, imparts smooth touches to clothes in a washing liquid, can reduce physical feebleness and unpleasant factors such as [roughness] and [creaking], and has a hand care performance and a care performance for articles to be washed.
SOLUTION: The detergent composition for hand-washing comprises a polymer of >0.03 mass% and ≤5 mass% having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 1,500,000 or more and 4,500,000 or less in which ≥90% of a monomer unit is ethylene oxide.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdered detergent composition for clothings having excellent power for removing the stains of sebaceous matters, spots and stains even though it is used in water of specifically high hardness. SOLUTION: The powdered detergent composition for clothings contains, in a specific ratio, (a) an anionic surface active agent, (b) a non-ionic surface active agent, (c) a compound which is capable of releasing hydrogen peroxide in water, and (d) a compound which is capable of generating an organic peracid by reacting with hydrogen peroxide in water, and in accordance with JIS K 3362: 1998, the pH of an aqueous solution of 0.1% by mass of the composition at 25 deg.C is 8 to 12.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition which imparts softness to clothes and is excellent in stability and detergency by incorporating a surfactant and a compound formed by the addition of an alcohol to the 1-position of an epoxy compound into the same. SOLUTION: This composition contains 0.1-20 wt.% compound represented by the formula: R1-OCH2CH(OH)CH2OH and 30-60 wt.% surfactant. The surfactant is preferably a nonionic surfactant and/or a cationic surfactant represented by formula I. When a cationic surfactant is jointly used, the use of a nonionic surfactant as the main surfactant is especially preferable. In the formulas, R1 is a 1-16C hydrocarbon group; one or two of R2 to R5 are each a 12-22C hydrocarbon group and the rest are each H, 1-4C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or-(CH2CH2O)kH; k is 1-15; and X is halogen, CH3SO4, C2H5SO4, CH3COO or HCOO. The wt. ratio of nonionic surfactant/cationic surfactant is preferably (100/1)-(1/1).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of exhibiting a graying- suppressing effect and an excellent sebum stain-washing force by including a surfactant, an N, N-bis(carboxymethyl)serine salt and polyethylene glycol. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 10-50 wt.% of a surfactant (preferably an anionic or nonionic surfactant), (B) 1-40 wt.% of an N,N-bis(carboxymethyl)serine salt of the formula [M is H, an alkali (alkaline earth) metal, ammonium, a basic amino], and (C) 1.0-5 wt.% of polyethylene glycol having a weight-average mol.wt. of 1,000-20,000. The composition preferably further contains 0.5-5 wt.% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid polymer having a weight-average mol.wt. of 1,000-150,000. Thereby, the detergent composition having an effect for suppressing a graying phenomenon which is a problem on the washing of clothes and capable of exhibiting an excellent whiteness- maintaining effect is provided.
