Abstract: An article is provided in which a replaceable flavor generating medium (27) is electrically heated by a set of permanent reusable heaters (23) to evolve inhalable flavors or other components in vapor or aerosol form. Each heater heats only a portion of the available flavor generating medium so that a plurality of individual puffs of flavour-containing substance can be delivered sequentially to the consumer.
