    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type portable information processor having a new structure for enabling a user to visually recognize a portion of a full display area that can be visually recognized with a cover part opened even while the cover part is closed. SOLUTION: A hinge part 18 is provided with a sub displaying part 19 that is linked with a main displaying part 16 when the cover part 14 is opened and closed apart from the main displaying part 16 provided on an inner side of the cover part 14. While the cover part 14 is opened, a user can simultaneously look through the sub displaying part 19 and the main displaying part 16. While the cove part 14 is closed, it is detected that the cover part 14 is closed and display contents are reversely displayed on the sub displaying part 19. The display contents can be visually recognized as a normal image through a mirror 17.

Consequently, useless operation of the reproduction means and thereby useless power consumption is avoided under a state where a user can not listen to a reproduced voice. Furthermore, reproducing operation is stopped or power supply is turned off when a headphone is removed during reproducing operation.
