    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain superior fixability which is unaffected by light, solvents, etc. by providing a photosensitive layer containing orthoquinone diazide compound on a substrate and coating an amino silane layer and further silicone rubber layer thereon the subjecting and same to exposure and development followed by heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer containing orthoquinone diazide on a substrate such as chemically treated Al plate or the like and amino silane is coated thereon, after which a silicone rubber layer is coated. This printing original plate is exposed through a negative film and is developed, after which it is heat-treated within 10 minutes at 120 deg.C or more, preferably about 140-220 deg.C. The printing plate having been fixed in this way is perfectly fixed without causing peeling of the photosensitive layer through re-exposure or peeling by being subjected to change by solvents, etc. in ink. This owes to the effect that the orthoquinone diazide compound and amino silane react through heat treatment and crosslink the photosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION:This process for production of the color filters for liquid crystal display consists of laminating a photosensitive resin layer 3 to be removed in exposed parts in a developing stage and a silicone rubber layer in this order on a light translucent substrate 1 formed with light shieldable parts between the previously patterned picture elements, installing an optical mask having the light shielding patterns narrower the light shieldable parts between the previously patterned picture elements directly or apart a specified spacing on the silicone rubber layer 5 in alignment to the light shieldable parts on the substrate 1, subjecting the resin layer to exposing processing then to development processing to form opening parts and subjecting the formed opening parts to coloration of three primary colors; red, green and blue, by the ink jet method, transfer method, printing method, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently obtain a patterned light shielding layer at high accuracy by forming such a laminated structure that a silicone rubber layer which repels an ink compsn. is formed only on a black matrix. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin layer which becomes soluble in an area exposed to light and a silicone rubber layer are laminated in this order on the surface of a light-transmitting base body. This laminated body is exposed and developed by photolithography to remove the exposed area of the silicone rubber layer and the photosensitive resin layer under the silicone rubber layer to form a pattern. Then a light shielding material is applied on the pattern part and a silicone rubber soln. is applied on the whole surface to regenerate a silicon rubber layer on the surface of the light shielding material. Then the photosensitive resin layer 5 remaining on the substrate where the layer is not exposed in the pattern exposing process is exposed over the whole surface to become voluble. Then the remaining photosensitive layer is removed with the upper silicon rubber layer so that apertures surrounded with walls of the light shielding material which has the silicone rubber layer as the surface layer are formed. These apertures are colored with three primary colors of red, green and blue by ink jet method.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive and high-precision color filter by laminating a silicone rubber layer on a specified pattern, then removing the patterned photosensitive resin layer along with the silicone rubber layer and coloring the exposed part with three red, green and blue primary colors. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin layer is formed on a transparent substrate, and then the photosensitive layer is exposed and developed by photolithography to form a specified pattern. A silicon rubber layer is then laminated thereon, the patterned photosensitive layer is removed along with the silicone rubber layer to form the parts freed of the silicone rubber layer in a specified pattern, and then the exposed parts are colored with the three red, green and blue primary colors. Meanwhile, the photosensitive layer is irradiated with an active beam and solubilized. Consequently, the blotting of ink and color mixing are prevented even when the colored part is formed by printing or the ink-jet method.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the color filter having colored layers which have excellent ink penetratability and exhaustion rate and can be dyed at room temp. by specifying the materials of the colored layers. CONSTITUTION:The base polymers of the transparent film bodies constituting the colored layer to be formed on a substrate consisting of glass, etc., namely the base polymers of transparent base materials to be controlled are constituted mainly of compds. contg. the constitutional unit expressed by formula. As a result, the colored layers which have the excellent ink penetratability and exhaustion rate and can be dyed at room temp. are surely obtd. The compds. contg. the structure expressed by the formula exhibit a cationic property in an acidic liquid and are the good exhaustion point in the case of use of the acidic dyes. In addition, the efficient dyeing is possible if a small amt. of the compds. are incorporated into the colored layers. Since the penetratability of the water-soluble ink is extremely high, the colored layers can be constituted of only the compds. contg. the above-mentioned constituting unit but the use of the compds. by mixing the same with other hydrophilic polymers, hydrophobic polymers or other monomers is possible as well.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate for halftone gravure of simple engraving process by coating a photosensitive high polymer material on backing to form a photosensitive layer and photoengraving the same by using a positive film for halftone gravure. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive high polymer material such as polyamide photosensitive resins, polyester photosensitive resins, cellulose acetate photosensitive resins, photosensitive rubber or the like is coated and adhered uniformly to 5-150mu thicknesses on backing such as a non-shrinkable polyester film, a thin metallic plate or the like, whereby a photosensitive layer is formed. A positive film for halftone gravure is brought into tight contact with the resultant photosensitive film, and after it is exposed for a prescribed time, it is developed with a developing soln. and is dried by hot air, whereby the intended printing plate for halftone gravure is obtained. The resultant printing plate is mounted on a cylinder of a gravure printing machine by using double-coated adhesive tapes or the like, and is used in printing, whereby the sharp and clean printed matter is obtained.
