The present disclosure relates to a transportation system and services method including receiving, at a transportation services provider system, a request for transportation of a pod assembly (170) having a current location and a destination; uploading a flight plan to a flight control system of a flying frame (112) including an airframe and a propulsion system; dispatching the flying frame (112) to the current location of the pod assembly (170); coupling the flying frame (112) to the pod assembly (170) at the current location of the pod assembly (170); transporting the pod assembly (170) by air from the current location of the pod assembly (170) to the destination of the pod assembly (170); and decoupling the pod assembly (170) from the flying frame (112) at the destination of the pod assembly (170).

A drone according to an embodiment may comprise: a support table; a main unit spaced from the support table and formed above the support table; a connecting portion for connecting the main unit and the support table; and a propulsion unit provided on the outer side of the support table so as to generate thrust. The main unit may have a through-hole formed therein, a parachute may be provided inside the through-hole, and, during a fall, the parachute may be discharged out of the through-hole by deformation of the connecting portion.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Rettung eines bemannten oder unbemannten Fluggeräts, insbesondere einer Drohne, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zusätzlich zum regulären Flugrechner eine autarke Notauslöseeinheit (11) mit einer Einrichtung zur Bestimmung der Sinkgeschwindigkeit (15) des Fluggeräts und einer Steuereinrichtung enthält, die beim Überschreiten einer vorgegebenen Sinkgeschwindigkeit automatisch eine Landung auslöst.

PURPOSE: A parachute device for an unmanned aerial vehicle is provided to safely land the unmanned aerial vehicle by unfolding a parachute without being caught up in a tail unit of a body. CONSTITUTION: A parachute device for an unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a compression coil spring(4), a spring-fixed top plate(5), a spring-fixed bottom plate(3), a spring compression locking device(7), and a compression releasing pin(10). The spring-fixed top plate is fixed on the top of the compression coil spring. The spring-fixed bottom plate is fixed on the bottom of the compression coil spring. The spring compression locking device is installed at the center of the spring-fixed bottom plate. The spring compression locking device fixes the compression releasing pin on the compression locking device to control the compression of the compression coil spring.

Disclosed is a technique for landing a drone using a parachute. The technique includes a parachute deployment system (PDS) that can deploy a parachute installed in a drone and land the drone safely. The parachute may be deployed automatically, e.g., in response to a variety of failures such as a free fall, or manually from a base unit operated by a remote user. For example, the PDS can determine the failure of the drone based on data obtained from an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer and a barometer of the drone and automatically deploy the parachute if any failure is determined. In another example, the remote user can "kill" the drone, that is, cut off the power supply to the drone and deploy the parachute by activating an onboard "kill" switch from the base unit.

La présente invention se rapporte; - d'une part, à un drone comprenant un fuselage (1) équipé de moyens de portance (11, 12) apte à permettre une position de vol sur le ventre et une position de vol sur le dos, d'au moins un organe de propulsion (2), d'instruments de navigation autonomes et d'un compartiment axial (10) formant une cavité intégrée dans une partie supérieure du fuselage pour embarquer un parachutiste (h) en position allongée, une avionique pourvue de moyens de pilotage programmables couplés aux instruments de navigation autonomes et des moyens de largage dudit parachutiste commandés par ladite avionique, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de largage sont aptes et destinés à assurer un largage dudit parachutiste en position de vol sur le dos et, - d'autre part, à un équipement d'intervention aéroportée.
