    Abstract: PURPOSE: A gear type anastomosis apparatus is provided to anastomose blood vessels by coupling anastomosis rings installed in two blood vessels. CONSTITUTION: A gear type anastomosis apparatus comprises a case(10), a holding member, driven shafts(22,32), and split-axis(50). The case comprises the front case(12) and rear case(14). The holding member comprises the first and second rotators(20,30) and the first and second holders(60,70). The split-axis is exposed outside through the front side of the front case. The operation lever(L) is exposed outside through the back side of the rear case. The first and the second holders are respectively fixed to the first and the second rotators in order to fix anastomosis rings(40,40'). After finish of the surgical operation, the anastomosis ring is separated from the first and the second holder.
