    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide means for inducing stabilization of flame in a combustion chamber having self-ignition while minimizing emission of noxious substances. CONSTITUTION: An inflow zone 5 has vortex generators, of which a plurality are arranged next to one another over the periphery of a duct through which flow occurs. A premixing zone 7 follows downstream of the inflow zone 5, into which premixing zone 7 a gaseous and/or liquid fuel 9 can be injected. Between the premixing zone 7 and a combustion zone 11, the transition is characterized by a jump 12 in cross-section which induces initial cross-section of flow of the combustion zone 11.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a premixing burner applicable additionally to an existing premixing combustor in which a uniform velocity distribution can be attained in a mixing zone simultaneously with intimate mixing of combustion air and fuel in an extremely short section and back fire can be avoided surely without requiring any mechanical flame holder. CONSTITUTION: A gaseous and/or liquid fuel is injected into the main burner 52 having a circular duct 20 as a secondary flow into a gaseous main flow. The main flow is guided over vortex generators 9, a plurality of which are arranged next to one another around the circumference of the duct 20 through which flow takes place. Venturi nozzles 50 are arranged on the down stream side of the vortex generator and the secondary flow is introduced into the duct 20 at a most consricted part of the Venturi nozzle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To shorten an oil discharge passage by guiding an oil discharge pipe of a turbo machine from a bearing casing to the outside through an exhaust diffuser, directly connecting an oil discharge conduit to a lower part of the bearing casing oil tightly and freely to operate, and leading out the oil discharge conduit through a hollow and vertical flow rib. CONSTITUTION: A rotor 1 and an impeller carrier 2 suspended inside a turbine casing 3 are disposed on an exhaust side final stage of an axial flow gas turbine. An exhaust casing 4 has annular inside part 5 and an outside part 6, and restricts an exhaust diffuser 7. Oil flows out from a bearing 9 through an oil groove, achieves an oil discharge conduit 12, and is guided to an oil tank of the outside. The oil discharge conduit 12 is connected to a spring stay 15, and formed as a spring support of a bearing casing 10. The oil discharge passage is not guided through the exhaust diffuser 7 in an axial direction, and is formed as a short oil discharge passage. The exhaust diffuser structure is lightened.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To minimize a clearance between a stator and a rotor by compensating a temperature difference between the stator and the rotor generated within transient operation range, and thermally controlling the rotor after a temperature distribution characteristic of the stator is assessed, in the case of operation of a fluid machine composed of a plurality of shaft parts by connecting welded with the rotor, and which is provided with a hollow chamber on an end surface of the shaft parts. CONSTITUTION: A fluid machine is composed of a rotor 3 and rotors with which two shaft parts 1, 2 are welded, as means. A hollow chamber 10 is formed on an end surface of the shaft parts 1, 2 on which a welding bead 4 is formed. According to a temperature conditioning of the shaft parts 1, 2 with respect to the stator 3, a conditioning medium gas 6 flows an extending passage 11 through a passage 7 of a guide impeller 5. Conditioning gas 12 after flowing the extending passage 11 is discharged in flow of operating gas 13. Accordingly, the shaft is adapted to a temperature characteristic of the stator. Especially, at the time of stop of a turbo device, slow down operation for a long time is eliminated for level out of a temperature between the stator and the shaft.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable parallel connection without preliminary selection or dilation by a method, wherein a large number of signal connection parts connected mutually are provided and a single power semiconductor module, which can be selected freely is connected to a control device, at the time when the modules in a plurality are connected in parallel. CONSTITUTION: A power semiconductor module 1 has a large number of signal connection parts 4.1-4.4, which are disposed on another side of a package. Moreover, an interface whereon a signal emitted from a control device and transmitted through an optical waveguide is coverted into the optimum one for a signal bus may be incorporated in the power semiconductor module. Accordingly, the signal connection parts 4.1-4.4 are connected to gate connection parts 5.1 and 5.2 in relation to the signal. When a plurality of power semiconductor modules 1 are connected in parallel, the signal connection parts 4.1-4.4 in large numbers which can be connected to the gate connection parts 5.1 and 5.2 in relation to the signal are incorporated in a circuit device and this forms the signal bus.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To sustain balance of voltage load among respective switches in blocking state by an arrangement wherein the control voltage level is influenced by a measured voltage in blocking state in such a manner that the blocking voltage of power semiconductor switches connected in series is substantially equalized. CONSTITUTION: The voltage Ucei across each power semiconductor switch and the voltage Ucetot across the entire series circuit are measured by means of a driver 4. The difference (1/nUcetot -Ucei ) is formed from these two voltages and relayed to a first means 6 where the switching moment Tdon , Tdoff is determined for each switch. The means 6 is connected with a time lag circuit 9 for setting the switching moment of a control signal. Output from the circuit 9 is delivered, as a control voltage Uge , to the gate of the switch through a driver 7. The means 6 and the circuit 9 have such an effect on the control signal as a balanced voltage distribution is generated when switched.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To achieve a limitless extension of the useful life with an effective cooling limited in heat loss of the combustion chamber, by connecting an external wall as foundation of a combustion chamber firmly to a relatively thin internal combustion wall along a cooling section to form a number of cooling paths partitioned therebetween. CONSTITUTION: A combustion chamber segment comprises a relatively thick external wall 4 as foundation of a combustion chamber to receive a pressure load C and in the wall 4 of the combustion chamber, a number of long holed cooling paths 5 are buried along a cooling section 3. The cooling paths 5 are arranged near a high temperature gas and for example, the interval between a flame chamber and a hole rim is 2 mm. Based on this layout, a relatively thin wall 6 of the combustion chamber is provided in front of the wall 4 thereof as a foundation. The combustion chamber wall 6 is directly connected to the combustion chamber wall 4 as the foundation. Thus, the whole structural body formed receives a pressure load C.
