    Abstract: A linear motor of the present invention has: a stator having a stationary iron core and a magnet wire; a mover having a moving iron core and a magnet; and a plate-shaped elastic member for supporting the mover in a manner to rock in the rocking directions. This construction eliminates a sliding portion for supporting the mover so that it can reduce the loss, which might otherwise accompany the reciprocation of the mover. Moreover, a linear compressor using this linear motor is high in efficiency and reliability.

In this structure, the stirring member (5) is rotated by supplying an electric power to the stator (8), to allow the fluid medium to reach the vacity (10c, 10d) through the interior of the rotor (16).

    Abstract: This invention relates to a hermetic compressor used on a refrigerant cycle such as a refrigerator, and discloses a low noise compressor designed to attenuate a resonance sound in a compression chamber and intake pressure pulsing more operatively at a position adjacent to their sources, which intake pressure pulsing occurs at an intake valve port. In the compressor, a resonance space 38 is provided adjacent to the intake valve port 29 that is closer in distance to a noise source. As a result, noise can be reduced more operatively than muffling functions of an intake muffler 31 do. In addition, although acoustic characteristics of the intake muffler 31 amplify noises having specific frequencies, such noises can be attenuated before being amplified.

(A) El nucleo es una masa de fibra endurecida con un aglutinante en donde el diametro de fibras promedio esta en el intervalo de 0.1 a 10 mum, en donde el diametro del hueco creado por una pluralidad de fibras es 40 mum o menos, y en donde la relacion de huecos del nucleo es 80% o mayor. (B) La concentracion del aglutinante varia en la direccion de espesor de nucleo. (C) Al menos un lado del nucleo en su superficie se proporciona con una capa endurecida asegurada por un aglutinante. (D) El nucleo contiene fibras que tienen una longitud de 100 mum o menos, en donde la direccion de la orientacion de fibra es perpendicular a la direccion de la transferencia de calor. Este material de aislamiento termico en vacio es excelente en funcionamiento de aislamiento termico, y un refrigerador que incluye el material de aislamiento termico en vacio puede ser compacto y puede realizar mayor capacidad interna y ahorro de energia.

    Abstract: A hermetic compressor of the present invention is provided with one or more small holes 17 formed in the shell of the suction muffler 16 formed with a low thermal conductivity material such as synthetic resin. The small holes 17 are positioned at nodes 18 in a vibration mode for the resonance frequency of the space formed in the hermetic shell, so that amplification of the resonance sound of the space in the hermetic shell 1 is suppressed. Furthermore, a shortage of the refrigerant is supplemented by the refrigerant gas sucked from the hermetic shell 1 through the small holes 17 when it occurs due to a suction loss caused by the resistance of the flow path for guiding a high density refrigerant gas from the suction tube into the cylinder 8 according to the circulation of the refrigerant.
