Disclosed is a content sharing method of a server device. The method comprises: a step of receiving playback capability information from a client device; a determination step of determining whether to perform partly processing for content, to be supplied to the client device, based on the received playback capability information; and a transmission step of, if it is determined that the partly processing is necessary, processing some frames in the content to be played in the client device and transmitting the processed frames to the client device. PURPOSE: A client apparatus, a control method of the client, a server, and an image providing method using the server are provided to offer a client apparatus which can be embodied as a thin client network system or a zero client network system incorporating a touch input means. CONSTITUTION: A client apparatus comprises a display unit (110), a communication interface unit (120), and a controller (130). The display unit receives a touch manipulation of a user through a touch sensor. The communication interface unit transmits information corresponding to the touch manipulation to a server. The controller, when an image corresponding to the touch manipulation is receives from the server through the communication interface unit, controls the display unit to display the received image. The controller detects information on a location where the touch manipulation is input on the display unit, and controls the communication interface unit to receive an image corresponding to the detected location information from the server. A system performing a real time video estimation of image quality digitalizing quality about equipment/service and is based on the transmission characteristics and a method thereof are provided to reduce the throughput of a reception end by performing a second image quality estimation when generating transmission loss. A video encoder(111) of a transmission unit(110) encodes and receives an original video. A first image quality checking unit uses the inputted motive for action image and encoded moving picture and the picture quality of the on-going basis transmission unit is evaluated. A video decoder(121) of a receiving unit(120) decodes the encoded moving picture which is inputted from the transmission unit. A second estimation of an image quality unit receives receiving party information provided from the decoder and evaluates the picture quality.

A video encoding data rate control method is provided to perform the video encoding data rate control method stably in the change of a scene in a field of application in which the given bit rate is low and the frame rate is high and the availability bit is less. Whether to change the scene of the inputted current frame is confirmed(32). A complexity about the frame showing the scene change based on the intra coding scheme is calculated(34). An availability bit assigned to the frame showing the scene change in consideration of the intra coding scheme is predicted(20). A QP(Quantization Parameter) in consideration of complexity and the predicted availability bit of the computed frame is determined(106).

A method for transmitting a transmit period of a real time control protocol in a network supporting SSM(Source Specific Multicasting) are provided to transmit corresponding session information or an RTCP transmission period properly by transmitting an RTP packet and an RTCP packet. A TCP session is established between a client and a server, and the client requests session information(S600). The server checks overall session information between servers belonging to each channel of the network(S610), includes session information of a corresponding channel in a header of an RTP packet, and transmits the same to the client(S620). The client checks whether the information included in the header of the RTP packet is session information or a direct RTCP transmission period(S630). If the information is session information, the client calculates an RTCP transmission period based on the session information(S640) and transmits RTCP packets to the server according to the calculated RTCP transmission period(S650).
