    Abstract: PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition, a plastic molded article produced therefrom, and a method for preparing a polymerizable phosphorus-based compound are provided to ensure excellent flame retardancy, impact resistance, heat resistance, and fluidity. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition comprises: 100 wt % of a base resin including 30 to 100 wt % of a polycarbonate-based resin; and 0.1 to 40 wt % of a polymerizable phosphorus-based compound represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, A is a single bond, C1-C5 alkylene, C1-C5 alkylidene, C5-C6 cycloalkylidene, -S- or -SO2-; R is C1-C20 aryl; and n is an integer of 4 - 500. The base resin comprises 30~100 weight% of a polycarbonate resin and 0~70 weight% of a rubber-modified aromatic vinyl polymer.

    Abstract: A phosphorous-containing cyclic compound is provided to improve flameproof effects when the compound is applied to thermoplastic resin by increasing phosphorous content and inhibit environment pollution by burning through suppression of halogenized gas release. A phosphorous-containing cyclic compound represented by the formula(1), in which R is hydrogen atom or C1-C6 alkyl, phenyl or phenoxy; and n is 1 or 2, is prepared by reacting 2-(6-oxid-6H-dibezoxa-phosphorin-6-yl)methanol with compounds represented by the formula(3) in organic solvent at 90-120 deg. C, wherein the organic solvent is selected from benzene, toluene, xylene, 1,4-dioxane, dichloromethane and dichloroethane. A flameproof thermoplastic resin composition comprises 0.1-50 parts by weight of the phosphorous-containing cyclic compound represented by the formula(1), and 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic resin.
