Abstract:
A phosphorus-based flame retardant is provided to ensure excellent fire retardancy and stability against fire and to prepare a thermoplastic resin composition with environment-friendliness and excellent fire retardancy. A phosphorus-based flame retardant has a structure represented by chemical formula 1. A method for manufacturing the phosphorus-based flame retardant comprises the steps of: adding a compound represented by chemical formula 3 to a mixture of phloroglucinol and solvent in a temperature range of 0~25°C; after completion of dropping, and increasing the reaction solution to 65~120 °C for 3~5 hours to react the reaction solution; and cooling the reaction solution to 0~20 °C and filtering and evaporating the reaction solution.

본 발명의 난연성 열가소성 수지 조성물은 (A) (a 1 ) 고무성분 10∼68 중량부 및 고무성분을 제외한 상태에서 아크릴로니트릴 18∼50 중량%를 포함하는 스티렌-아크릴로니트릴 그라프트 공중합체 수지 5∼40 중량% 및 (a 2 ) 아크릴로니트릴 18∼50중량%를 포함하는 스티렌-아크릴로니트릴 공중합체 수지 95∼60 중량%로 이루어진 고무변성 스티렌계 수지 100 중량부, (B) 에폭시 수지 1∼30 중량부, (C) 페놀 수지 1∼20 중량부, (D) 방향족 인산에스테르 화합물 5∼30 중량부, 및 (E) 가교촉진제 0.005∼5.000 중량부로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 난연성 열가소성 수지 조성물은 성형되어 전기제품, 사무기기 등의 성형품에 이용될 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition and a molded product prepared by using the composition are provided, to improve flame retardancy with minimizing the addition of char generating materials by using a zinc compound. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber modified styrene-based resin which comprises 5-40 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile graft copolymer resin having 10-68 parts by weight of rubber component and containing 18-50 wt% of acrylonitrile except the rubber component, and 60-95 wt% of a styrene-acrylonitrile graft copolymer resin containing 18-50 wt% of acrylonitrile; 1-30 parts by weight of an epoxy resin; 5-30 parts by weight of an aromatic phosphoric acid ester compound; and 0.01-20 parts by weight of a zinc compound. Preferably the epoxy resin is represented by the formula 1, 2 or 3, wherein n is 1-10,000. Preferably the zinc compound has a diameter of 0.01-10 micrometers and comprises ZnO, ZnSO4 and ZnCl2.

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic flame retardant resin composition and a molded product processed from the composition are provided, to improve the flame retardancy by employing the polyfunctional epoxy resin generating a large amount of char in combustion. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a styrene-based resin as a base resin; 0.1-100 parts by weight of a polyfunctional epoxy resin represented by the formula 1, wherein n is an integer of 1-100; and 0.1-50 parts by weight of a phosphorus-based flame retardant. Preferably the phosphorus-based flame retardant is at least one selected from the group consisting of a phosphate ester-based compound, an oxaphosphorane-based compound, a carboxy phosphinic acid compound, a phosphate ester morpholide compound, a phosphazene compound and a phosphoramidate compound.

A phosphorus-based flame retardant copolymer, a method for preparing the copolymer, and a flame retardant thermoplastic composition containing the copolymer are provided to improve processability and flame retardancy and to prevent environmental pollution in case of processing or burning. A phosphorus-based flame retardant copolymer is prepared by polymerizing 100 parts by weight of a monomer comprising 60-100 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound and 0-40 wt% of a cyanovinyl compound, and 0.01-30 parts by weight of a phosphorus-containing vinyl compound selected from the compounds represented by the formula 1 and 2 or their mixture. In the formula 1, R1 is H or a C1-C4 alkyl group; R2 and R3 are identical or different each other and are a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C6-C20 aryl group or a C6-C20 aryl group substituted with an alkyl group; n is 1-8; and m is 0 or 1. In the formula 2, R1, R2 and R3 are a phenyl group, a biphenyl group or an allylphenyl group; at least one of R1, R2 and R3 must contain a vinyl group; and n is 0 or 1.

A salt of carboxyethyl phosphinate ester is provided to show excellent flame retardant property, improved heat-stability and moisture absorbing property by esterifying carboxy phosphinic acid and then preparing a salt compound thereof. The salt of carboxyethyl phosphinate ester is represented by the formula(I), where R1 is C1-6 alkyl, C6-12 aryl or alkyl substituted C6-12 aryl, R2 is C1-6 alkyl, C6-12 aryl or alkyl substituted C6-12 aryl, n is an integer from 1 to 3, and M is a metal selected from the group consisting of Al, Zn, Ca, Ba and Mg or an amine-based compound selected from the group consisting of ammonium, melamine and melum. The flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin and 0.1-50 parts by weight of the salt of carboxyethyl phosphinate ester regarding 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin.
