    Abstract: A method for testing an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for diesel engine is provided to improve CPF(Catalyzed Particulate Filter) quality and obtain more accurate result of resistance test by using an assembly of previously abraded DPF and DOC as CPF test piece. A method for testing an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for diesel engine is as follows. An exhaust ventilator is mounted on a DOC(Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) installation position of a DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter) to form a DPF test piece(S101). The DPF test piece is mounted on the exhaust pipe of the engine, and the DPF is abraded based on DPF abrasion condition(S103). The exhaust ventilator is removed from the DPF test piece and replaced with a degraded DOC to form a CPF test piece(S105). The CPF test piece is mounted on the exhaust pipe of the engine, and the CPF test piece is measured and evaluated while driving the engine(S107).
