Abstract: An exhaust valve with a piezoelectric element according to the present invention includes a housing unit which an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe are joined; a gate which is mounted to be slid inside the housing unit and joined with a rod; a spring which elastically presses the gate toward the inlet pipe; and a piezoelectric element which is arranged inside the housing unit to be pressed by the rod and which produces electricity when pressure is applied. Exhaust gas sent via the inlet pipe overcomes an elastic force of the spring, slides the gate, and is discharged to the outlet pipe. The rod presses the piezoelectric element according to a slide of the gate. The exhaust valve of the present invention converts the kinetic energy of the exhaust gas discharged to the outside during driving a vehicle into electric energy, thereby increasing the energy utility of a vehicle.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A car thermoelectric generator is provided to include the numerous thermoelectric modules which generate electricity by using the thermoelectric phenomenon by the temperature difference between the inner surface, which is heated by a first heat transferring fin, and the outer surface which is cooled by the lower temperature part. CONSTITUTION: A car thermoelectric generator includes a high temperature unit (110), numerous thermoelectric modules (130), and a lower temperature unit (120). The high temperature unit includes an exhaust pipe (112), a bypass tube (114), and a heat transferring pipe (119). The heat transferring pipe is mounted on the outer circumference surface of exhaust pipe, extends from the outer circumference surface toward radial direction, and includes numerous first heat exchanger fins (117) which are arranged in a length direction. The thermoelectric modules are made up by coupling P-type semiconductor and N-type semiconductor, generate electricity by using thermoelectric phenomenon and being attached at both side surfaces of numerous first heat exchanger fins, and are electrically connected with each other. The lower temperature unit is mounted between the facing thermoelectric modules of each pair of the numerous thermoelectric modules, and cools the facing surfaces of the numerous thermoelectric modules by means of coolant passing through the inside of lower temperature unit. The numerous thermoelectric modules generate electricity by using thermoelectric phenomenon by the temperatures difference between the inner surfaces, which are heated by the first heat transferring fins, and the outer surfaces which are cooled by the lower temperature unit.
