Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing propylene oxide, comprising at least the following steps: (a) propene is reacted with a hydroperoxide in a solvent in the presence of a zeolite catalyst, in order to obtain a mixture (G0), said mixture (G0) containing propylene oxide, solvent, non-reacted propene, non-reacted hydroperoxide and oxygen; (b) the propylene oxide is separated from the mixture (G0) in such a way that a mixture (G1) is obtained which comprises non-reacted propene and oxygen; (c) the mixture (G1) is brought into contact with a liquid medium containing at least solvent, in order to obtain the mixtures (G2) and (G3), said mixture (G3) containing a part of the non-reacted propene and oxygen, and said mixture (G2) containing the solvent and the rest of the propene, the separated mixture (G3) of non-reacted propene and oxygen having a ratio of oxygen to propene which renders the mixture (G3) non-inflammable, and the mixture (G2) supplying at least one reaction between the propene and the hydroperoxide.

Abstract: A process for coproduction of 6-aminocapronitrile and hexamethylenediamine starting from adiponitrile comprises(1) partially hydrogenating adiponitrile in the presence of a catalyst to obtain a mixture comprising 6-aminocapronitrile, hexamethylenediamine and adiponitrile,(2) removing 6-aminocapronitrile and hexamethylenediamine from the mixture,(3) adding to the portion comprising essentially adiponitrile from 0.01 to 10% by weight of an acid, based on adiponitrile, or an acidic ion exchanger and removing the adiponitrile from the mixture, and(4) recycling the adiponitrile into step (1).

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for simultaneous production of 6-aminocapronitrile and hexamethylenediamine from adipodinitrile, comprising the following steps: a) hydrogenating adipodinitrile in the presence of a catalyst containing an element of the VIII subgroup thereby obtaining a mixture containing 6-aminocapronitrile, hexamethylenediamine, adipodinitrile and high boilers; b) distillative separation of hexamethylenediamine from the mixture containing 6-aminocapronitrile, hexamethylenediamine, adipodinitrile and high boilers or c1) distillative separating 6-aminocapronitrile and subsequently d1) distillative separation of adipodinitrile or c2) simultaneous distillative separation of 6-aminocapronitrile and adipodinitrile into separate fractions. The invention is characterized in that temperatures in the bottoms of the column in steps d1) or c2) are under 185 DEG C. The adipodinitrile thus obtained contains less impurities than for instance 1-amino-2-cyanocyclopentenes.
