The invention further concerns the use of these substances as herbicides and for the desiccation and abscission of plants.
Abstract:
2-aroylcyclohexandiones have general formula (I), in which X, Y stand for O or S; Ar stands for phenyl or heteroaryl with 1 to 4 substituents; or two adjacent carbon atoms of the phenyl or heteroaryl ring may also be bridged by a chain; R?1, R2, R3, R4¿ stand for hydrogen or C¿1?-C4-alkyl; R?5¿ stands for H, C¿1?-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl; R?6, R7¿ stand for C¿1?-C4-alkyl, benzyl or stand together for an optionally substituted ethylene or propylene chain. Also disclosed are the salts and esters of these compounds with acids, except for 2-(4-chloro-2-nitrobenzoyl)-5-dimethoxymethyl-5-methyl-cyclohexan-1,3-dione, and their use as herbicides and growth regulators.
Abstract:
Cyclohexenonoxime ethers have formula (I) in which the substituents have the following meaning: R1 stands for alkyl; R2 for alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkenyl, halogen alkenyl, alkinyl or halogen alkinyl; -A1-O-N=CH-Ph or A2-W, in which A1 stands for possibly substituted C¿2?-C4-alkylen, Ph stands for possibly substituted phenyl, A?2¿ stands for possibly substituted alkylen, alkenylen or alkinylen, or for possibly substituted alkylenoxy, alkenylenoxy or alkylenoxyalkylen, W stands for possibly substituted phenyl, pyridyl or thienyl; R3 stands for substituted alkyl, possibly substituted cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, a possibly substituted 5-membered saturated heterocycle which may contain besides carbon ring members one or two oxygen and/or sulphur atoms, a possibly substituted 6 or 7-membered saturated or mono- or double-unsaturated heterocycle which may contain besides carbon ring members one or two oxygen and/or sulphur atoms, a possibly substituted 5-membered heteroaromate, which contains besides carbon ring members one or two nitrogen atoms and one oxygen or one sulphur atom; possibly substituted phenyl or pyridyl; R4 stands for hydrogen, alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkenyl, halogen alkenyl, alkinyl, halogen alkinyl, alkyl carbonyl or halogen alkyl carbonyl, possibly substituted benzoyl, -S(=O)¿2-R?c; -P(=O)(ORd)(ORe) or - SiRfRgRh, in which R?c, Rd, Re, Rg and Rh¿ represent independently from each other C¿1?-C10-alkyl, C1-C10-halogen alkyl or possibly substituted phenyl. Also disclosed are their preparation, agents containing the same and their use.
