Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent confusion on the reception side caused by an error recovery on the opposite side by editting a received original in a memory accumulation device after receiving an error re-transmission page, and print-outputting a received original only when receiving a normal re-transmission page. CONSTITUTION:A reception operation is started upon receiving an in-coming signal from the opposite transmitter, thereafter, the reception of a page is executed. A central processing unit 2, after receiving an erroneous re-transmission page, lets the memory accumulation device 5 edit a received original, and processes so that a reception original is outputted for printing only when a normal re-transmission page is received. By the processing unit 2, whether a reception page is normally received or not is checked, and in case a normal reception is judged, an image is outputted from a recorder 3. On the other hand, in case an abnormal reception of a page is judged, pages within a window size are determined NG.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To clarify the valid/invalid operation of an operator by providing a key input invalidating means selecting an operating mode according to the key input of a key input means commanding and inputting control operation and making a command key input specific to a non-selection mode invalid. CONSTITUTION:A control section 3 sends a start command to a G3 equipment 4 with a command input to apply communication control in the G3 mode by the start switch input of the G3 equipment 4 to start the G3 equipment. In this case, in order to attain the sureness, a reset command is sent to the G4 equipment 5 at the same time. Then the control section 3 supervises the operation command input from the operation section 1. The operator depresses and inputs the stop button of the operation section 1 when the communication control in the G3 mode is finished or the communication control of the G3 mode is desired to be stopped. Since the operation input independently of the present operation mode is made invalid, the handling of equipment is facilitated.

Further, the PMEM23 has a memory management unit MMEM and also a work area as a buffer of the transmission data sent from the hard disc to a CCU30 and stored from the CCU30 in the hard disc. As external stor age devices, the hard disc device 50 and the floppy disc device 51 having nonvolatile memories are provided.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a facsimile equipment with high reliability of reception content by sending a reception acknowledgment signal to an opposite station after a prescribed amount of reception data is stored in a nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A hard disc equipment 50 and a floppy disc equipment 51 using nonvolatile memories are provided as external storage devices. At first, negotiation is started with an opposite station to discriminate whether or not the correspondence with the opposite station is attained, and when the communication is attained, one block in the transmission data is sent via a hard disc via a memory 23. Then whether or not the reception acknowledgment signal is received from the opposite station is discriminated. Further, binary image data or mixed data from a reader 10 is stored in the hard disc. When the reception acknowledgment signal is received, whether or not the next block to be sent remains is discriminated, and when the next block is left, the said operation is repeated and the process is finished after the final block is sent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain sure reception to an opposite station receiving a prescribed data only by sending a character data while being converted into an image data. CONSTITUTION:After negotiation is started, at first whether or not an opposite station is the class '1' (a station transmitting/receiving only an image data) is discriminated. In case of the class '1', a character code data is converted into an image data and after it is compressed by an ICU 22, the data is sent in the unit of page at each block. The conversion is executed by a character generator outputting a bit pattern signal corresponding to the character data. When the opposite station is not the class '1', the data is sent at each block. Thus, the mixed mode terminal equipment can correspond with the opposite station sending/receiving only the image data and with a telex also, and sure communication is attained to an opposite station receiving a prescribed data only.

The safety distance is a distance from the present write address in a picture memory 10 to the address of the data described on the beginning of the page on which the data of the present write address data is printed and a distance within which the received data is written while the printer 200 executes printing.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the large size and high cost for the titled device, by recording a sectioning mark on a screen on the prescribed position of a recording paper, in receiving a transmission end signal for one screen's share. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal demodulated from a demodulator 1 is decoded at a microcomputer 4, applied to a recorder 10 via a run length converter 6 and a line memory 8 and recorded on the recording paper. In this case, the computer 4 controls a motor 15 via a driver 13 for the carrying control of the recording paper, and when the end of recording for one picture is detected, the motor 15 is driven for several scannings' share and one-picture end picture signal is trasmitted to the memory 8 and recorded. This end picture signal is recorded on the recording paper as marks of dotted lines or straight line mark, and any mark is available in representing the position of end.
