    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accomplish photographing at a position near an object by mounting a focusing mechanism interlocked with a photographing optical system in a finder optical system. CONSTITUTION:The photographing optical system 10 is constituted of three groups of zoom lenses. Second and third groups of lenses 12 and 13 for variable power lenses are driven by a motor M1, and a first group of lenses 11 for focusing lenses is driven by a motor M2. Meanwhile, the finder optical system 20 is also constituted of three groups of zoom lenses. A first group of lenses 21 for focusing lenses is driven by the motor M2 and second and third groups of lenses 22 and 23 for variable power lenses are driven by the motor M1 and are interlocked with the photographing optical system 10. Thus image visibility in a finder visual field corresponds to the image visibility in the photographing optical system and a camera user can decide a composition without worry. Then the risk of failure in proximity photographing operation is eliminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To appropriately inform a photographer of the position of a close scenery correcting frame corresponding to focal length on any occation by eliminating finder parallax to be arised from a selected focal length in photographing a close scenery by means of changing a position in the finder of the close scenery correcting frame. CONSTITUTION:When the focal length of a photographing lens 1 is on a shorter side (wide side), a frame supporting member 6 is in the top left position, and the close scenery correcting frame 5a is also at the top left of a visual field frame 3. Afterwards, when the photographing lens 1 and a finder lens 2 move to the longer focal point (tele side) by the action of a zoom motor 9, the frame supporting member 6 moves to the right bottom together with the move of the lenses 1 and 2, and the correcting frame 5a also moves. When the focal length of the photographing lens 1 is between the longer and shorter focal points, the close scenery correcting frame 5a lies between them. As the focal length of the photographing lens 1 changes, the correcting frame 5a moves to the corresponding position. Thus, a photographer can realize the position of the close scenery correcting frame 5a corresponding to the arbitrarily set focal length, that is, a photographing range.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the folding of a vertical part plate and a horizontal supporting part and to improve operability by providing a connecting means constituted so as to interlock and fold a vertical part plate connected to an original placing table and a horizontal supporting part having an optical means. CONSTITUTION:When a device is folded, by pushing the upper part of a vertical part plate 4, a stopper 18 is removed from a gear 12 and the gear 12 is rotated on the circumference of a gear 11a with a pivoting member B as a center. Since the gear 12 is united integrally with a pulley 13, the vertical part plate 4 and the horizontal supporting part 3 are interlocked and folded. When the ratio of the pitch circular diameter of gears 12 and 11a is 1:1 and that of the outer diameter of pulleys 13 and 16 is 2:1 and the vertical part plate 4 is folded up to the middle, the horizontal supporting part 3 is moved to the inside of the vertical part plate 4. Thereafter, when the vertical part plate 4 continues to be folded, the folding of the vertical part plate 4 is completed while a belt 17 slips with the pulley 13.

The distance range from the point C to the point B is accordingly the focus range. The No.3-No.9 of the LEDs of the display elements 9 existing in the distance range from the point C to the point B measured on the optical axis from the stage 2 are made to emit light. The focus range display device is provided in such a manner. Judgement of whether the part desired to be projected of the subject is in the focus range or not is thereby confirmed without having a need for viewing a fine monitor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the easy takeout of sheets by aligning the upper surface of a stacker for stowing recorded sheets with the upper surface of a device body, inclining a sheet loading surface upward to the downstream of a discharge direction and taking out the sheets orthogonally with the discharge direction. CONSTITUTION:A stacker 5 is built into the body of a recording device 'M' and recorded sheets are stored therein. The upper surface 5a of the stacker 5 is made in line with the upper surface 1 of the recording device 'M' and a sheet loading surface 5c is sloped upward to the downstream of a discharge direction. Said upper surface 5a is partly cut out and the sheet loading surface 5c is not expanded fully in a breadthwise direction, thereby forming a takeout port 5f. According to the aforesaid constitution, sheets even if curled can be discharged and stowed smoothly and recorded sheets can be taken out easily.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To guarantee appropriate and high-quality printing always by detecting the availability of recording paper near pressing positions of first and second pressure rollers and inhibiting recording when the unavailability of recording paper is detected at the pressing position of either of the pressure rollers. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 17, 18 detects the availability of recording paper P at a position immediately before and after first and second pinch rollers 6, 7. Recording paper P can be recorded only when it is set within a range between both sensing positions of a sensor 17, 18 on a platen roller 4. Further, recording is inhibited when recording paper P is not found at the sensing position of either of the sensors or has not been found. Accordingly, recording paper P is recorded only when it is pressed to the platen roller 4 by the first and second pinch rollers 6, 7. Thus the accurate pitch feed of recording paper P after single line recording is assured, and also recording is performed in such a condition where the floating of recording paper P is prevented. After all, appropriate and high-quality printing is guaranteed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a load at the time of moving a carriage, enable a high-speed scanning movement and contrive a longer useful life, by using a dynamic- pressure bearing at a bearing part for a head carriage. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic-pressure bearing 25 for a carriage guide shaft 3 is fitted into a through-hole 2a of a head carriage 2. The bearing 25 is molded from an abrasion-resistant synthetic resin, is press fitted into the hole 2a, and has an inner peripheral surface provided with a plurality of oblique grooves, with the direction of inclination of each groove being opposite to that of the adjacent groove. When the carriage 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow A, a positive pressure is generated relative to the surface of a guide shaft 3 through compression of a fluid by the combinations of the grooves 251-252 and 253-254, and when the carriage 2 is moved in the direction of arrow B, a positive pressure is also generated by the combinations of the grooves 252-253 and 254-255. Accordingly, the carriage 2 is reciprocated extremely smoothly under a low load and a small load variations.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To commonly use a drive source and as well to prevent an extra paper from being fed, in a paper feed system in a recording device, by providing a unidirectional transmission mechanism for inhibiting the rotation of a paper feed roller during a discharge roller discharging a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When a motor M2 is driven to be rotated in the direction opposite to the direction C so that a discharge roller 124 is rotated in the direction B, a paper is discharged from between a platen 101 and a pinch roller 104. The torque of the motor M2 is in the direction opposite with respect to an one-way cluth for a paper feed roller 120 which therefore does not rotate, and therefore, no affection is made to papers in a cassette. Further after completion of the paper discharge, when the motor M2 is stopped while a motor M1 is rotated by a predetermined number of pulses in the direction D, the paper feed and discharge rollers 120, 124 are retracted. With this arrangement, both paper feed and discharge rollers 120, 124 may be driven by one and the same drive source M2, and as well no feed of extra papers occures.

The reader part is equipped with a scanning member which scans a document and a guide member which guides the movement of the scanning member, and the guide member has both scanning-directional end parts and a nearly center part fixed.
