    Abstract: Procédé pour réaliser une mise en plis des cheveux, caractérisé par le fait que l'on soumet de manière uniforme les cheveux secs ou en cours de fin de séchage, à l'état enroulés sur un corps tubulaire ou sur bigoudis ou sur rouleaux de mise en plis,à l'action de vapeur d'eau surchauffée à une température comprise entre 100 et environ 150.degree.C pendant une période d'environ 1 à 60 secondes, que l'on assure le refroidissement à la température ambiante des cheveux sur ledit corps tubulaire ou lesdits bigoudis ou rouleaux de mise en plis et qu'on déroule les cheveux. Le procédé selon l'invention permet d'obtenir de manière simple et économique un traitement parfaitement homogène et hydratant des cheveux à une température suffisante pour obtenir la mise en plis et conférer aux cheveux la teneur en eau qui correspond sensiblement à l'état d'équilibre avec l'atmosphère dans laquelle ils seront ultérieurement placés. L'invention vise également un appareil destiné à la mise en oeuvre du procédé ci-dessus. Cet appareil est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un corps muni d'une poignée, un réservoir de liquide, des moyens pour prélever du réservoir une quantité prédéterminée de liquide, un élément de vaporisation comprenant une résistance de chauffage, dans lequel passe le liquide prélevé du réservoir et dans lequel de la vapeur surchauffée est engendrée à partir du liquide, un injecteur alimente depuis l'élément de vaporisation, l'injecteur étant adapté pour amener en contact avec les cheveux à traiter, la vapeur à une température de 100 à environ 150.degree.C; cet injecteur comprend une aiguille creuse présentant près de son extrémité des orifices de passage de vapeur, inclinés par rapport à l'axe de l'aiguille et dirigés vers l'arrière.

    Abstract: The colorimetric measuring head (1), for determining the internal colour of a non-opaque material (2), in particular the internal colour of human skin, includes an optical system (3) which emits light towards the material to be studied and is separated by an oblique wall (4) for an optical system (5) which receives the light which has penetrated into and been reflected by the material. The external surface (A) of the head (1), which faces the material to be studied, is continuous and adapted to the surface of the material so as to match this surface either by direct application against the said surface of the material or with an optical wetting medium. The assembly is such that the light (R) received by the detector comes from inside the material (2), whilst the light possibly reflected by the surface of the material or coming directly from the emitter cannot reach the detector because of the opaque separating wall.
