    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thick and thin false twisted textured yarn capable of freely designing a desired pattern by extremely accurately controlling and stretching a filament having a high elongation rate at a high speed yarn traveling level and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This thick and thin false twisted textured yarn has a filament part having 10-30 residual elongation rate, which has false twist crimps and is pale-dyeable, and a filament part having 30-70% residual elongation rate, which is not crimped and is dark-dyeable. The above both filament parts exist alternatively in the length direction of the yarn and also the lengths of the yarns are regularly or irregularly controlled.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an elastic fiber having excellent heat-stability, freeze- resistance, flexural fatigue resistance, light resistance, etc., and suitable for imparting a cloth with stretchability, by melt-spinning a specific polyester ester amide polymer or polyether amide polymer and drawing the spun fiber under specific condition. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber can be produced by melt-spinning a polyether ester amide polymer and/or polyether amide polymer derived from (A) a compound selected from epsilon-caprolactam, epsilon-aminocaproic acid and their oligomer, (B) a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol and/or poly(alkylene oxide) diamine having a number-average molecular weight of 300-6,000 and (C) a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid (preferably terephthalic acid, adipic acid, etc.), cooling and solidifying the spun fiber and drawing the fiber successively or continuously at a draw ratio larger than 0.5 times the breaking elongation of the elastic fiber.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:Polyester undrawn yarns that are reduced in intrinsic viscosity by adding the third component are subjected to drawing and false-twisting together with other polyester undrawn yarns with other characteristics to impart antifrosting properties without any adverse effect on antipilling properties. CONSTITUTION:(A) undrawn yarns of polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate containing preferably 1-10 mole% of the third component as isophthalic acid and (B) other polyester undrawn yarns whose optical birefringence (DELTAn) is below 15 X 10 and 2-6 X 10 higher than that of yarns (A) are simultaneously subjected to drawing and false twisting under heating, thereby fusing filaments and forming fluffs by breaking partially yarns (A) to obtain said spun-like fused yarns. EFFECT:Uniform fluffing occurs.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester-based multicomponent false-twist textured yarn capable of giving optimum stretchability most suitable as a raw material for a knitted/woven fabric for which a high stretch performance is required, a soft feeling, and good process passableness, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This polyester-based multicomponent false-twist textured yarn is composed of multifilament yarn of which the threads have different elastic characteristics of elongation and so structured that sheath yarn is twined around core yarn but turned over so as to be entangled with the core yarn in a substantially non-twisted state, wherein the core yarn comprises fine crimped yarn with high elasticity of elongation in which polytrimethylene terephthalate and polyethylene terephthalate are longitudinally conjugated to be formed into bi-component yarn of side-by-side or eccentric sheath-and-core type, the sheath yarn comprises false-twist crimped yarn with low elasticity of elongation made of the polyethylene terephthalate, and the false-twist textured yarn has such characteristics as specified in the follow: (1) a twist number caused by residual torque of 0-10 turn/50 cm; (2) an elastic recovery percentage of elongation of 85-97%, when elongated at 10%; and (3) an elongation percentage of stretch under loading of 10-30%.
