Abstract:
A portable spinal decompression device comprised of a top (thoracic) adjustable belt and bottom (lumbar) adjustable belt with a plurality of traction devices attached at set anchor points for applying traction forces to a body to facilitate spinal disc decompression and alleviate pain of users with spinal disorders. The portable device that fits various shapes and body sizes can be operated by a user without additional assistance and can be used while the individual is in numerous positions during his or her daily routine.
Abstract:
A walking assistance device having a sitting member (1) on which the user (P) can sit straddling it, and support members (2L, 2R) placed below the sitting member (1). The sitting member (1) has a connection section (106) for connecting the sitting member (1) to the support members (2L, 2R) so that the sitting member (1) is pivotable to the left and right about a support shaft (106a). The support shaft (106a) is located at a position corresponding to that intermediate part in the front-rear length of the sitting member (1) that is in contact with the user (P). When the user (P) tries to walk swinging their hips, resistance that they receives from the sitting section is reduced to improve usability.
Abstract:
An auxiliary exercise equipment can prevent a user from having a fall due to loss of a balance, and can be operated to start and stop a passive exercise and to change types of the passive exercise immediately. The auxiliary exercise equipment comprises left and right steps, a passive exercise generating means, and a handle bar. A user's left and right feet are rested on the left and right steps, respectively. The passive exercise generating means comprises a step rotary driving unit which is configured to change a vertical position relation between front and rear ends of each of the left and right steps while being slid and reciprocated. The handle bar prevents the user from having a fall. The handle bar is provided with a switch for starting, stopping, or changing a passive exercise.
Abstract:
An apparatus for rehabilitation of patients with motor disorders affecting the legs and standing dysfunctions, the apparatus comprising a couple of bars moving along a closed loop representing a walking step for the patient, with each bar including a plate to affix a foot of the patient and the plate being slidably arranged in the bar, with a motor connected to the bars to move the bars along the closed loop, the apparatus also having an harness to support the patient.
Abstract:
A walk assistance device capable of transmitting a force generated by a leg link (5) to a user's trunk via a load transfer portion (1), wherein the leg link includes an upper first link portion (6) connected to the load transfer portion via a first joint portion (3), a lower second link portion (7) connected to a foot attachment portion (2) via a second joint portion (4), a middle third joint portion (8) which connects the first link portion to the second link portion in such a way that a distance between the first joint portion and the second joint portion is variable, and a driving source (9) which drives the third joint portion; and wherein the moment of inertia around the first joint portion of the leg link is reduced to decrease a load on the user's leg in walking. The driving source (9) is disposed higher than the third joint portion (8) of the first link portion, (6) so that the center-of-gravity of the entire leg link (5) is located higher than the third joint portion (8). In the case where the driving source (9) includes an electric motor (91) and a reduction gear (92), the electric motor (91) is disposed higher than the reduction gear (92).
Abstract:
The machine is characterised in that it comprises a pair of supports (4) for the legs of the user, said supports (4) being movable so that they approch and move away from each other, and said supports (4) being associated with driving means. Said supports (4) are padded and mounted on a height-adjustable plate (3). Said driving means comprise a motor, to the shaft of which the supports (4) are associated by means of a pair of connecting rods or a connecting rod and crank mechanism, so that operation of the motor causes joint movement of the supports (4), which move away from and approach each other alternately. It permits a relaxation movement to be carried out without the intervention of any person.
Abstract:
In certain example embodiments, provided is a compact massager, comprising: (1) one or more massage head attachment portions; and (2) a massager body, wherein the massager body is configured to connect with the one or more massage head attachment portions at the front body side, the massager body further comprises: (i) a motor; (ii) a PCBA; (iii) a display; (iv) a power source; wherein the power source is configured to electrically connect with the motor, the PCBA and the display; (v) a Z-shaped, transmission crank, configured to translate rotary motion from the motor to reciprocating motion of the one or more massage head attachment portions; and (vi) a counterweight, having an eccentric cam, an input shaft and an output shaft, wherein the input shaft is disposed at one side of the cam and is operatively connected to the motor, and an output shaft is disposed at an opposing side of the cam and is operatively connected to the transmission crank. In certain example embodiments, the compact massager provides comparable or even stronger or deeper massage despite the size being relatively smaller and the noise level is reduced.
