Verwendung von Mischungen aus: A) aliphatischen gesättigten oder ungesättigten Monocarbonsäuren mit 12 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatomen oder deren Dimerisations- oder Trimerisationsprodukten oder deren Ammoniumsalzen, Amiden, Estern oder Nitrilen und B) polycyclischen Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen aus Destillationsrückständen von natürlichen Ölen, welche aus Baumharzen extrahiert wurden, zur Verbesserung der Lagerstabiliät von Kraftstoffadditiv-Konzentraten mit mindestens einem Detergenz und mindestens einem Cetanzahlverbesserer, wobei diese Mischungen in einer Konzentration von 0,7 bis 20 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die Gesamtmenge des Kraftstoffadditiv-Konzentrates, eingesetzt werden.

A fuel composition for internal combustion engines, and more particularly, a fuel composition for internal combustion engines containing less than about 0.5 gram of lead per gallon of fuel. The fuel provides acceptable valve seat protection in eingines designed to operate on leaded fuels. A further aspect of the invention is to reduce deposit formation within the cylinders.

The invention relates to dispersions comprising I) at least one polymer that is effective for mineral oils as a cold extrusion improver and is soluble in oil, II) at least one organic solvent that cannot be mixed with water, III) water, IV) at least one alkanolamine salt of a polycyclic carboxylic acid as a dispersing agent, and V) possibly at least one organic solvent that can be mixed with water.

The invention relates to the use of mixtures of: A) aliphatic saturated or unsaturated monocarboxylic acids with 12 to 24 carbon atoms or the dimerised or trimerised products, ammonium salts, amides, esters or nitriles thereof and B) polycyclic hydrocarbon compounds made from distillation residues of natural oils extracted from tree resins, for improving the storage stability of fuel additive concentrates comprising at least one detergent and at least one cetane number improver, wherein said mixtures are applied with a concentration of 0.7 to 20 wt. %, relative to the total amount of fuel additive concentrate.
Abstract:
The additive described consists essentially of a selected oxalkylated fatty amine or fatty amine derivative and a special mineral salt compound, preferably a metal soap. Said additive for heavy oils produces good emulsification and dispersion of asphaltenes and other high molecular compounds thereby resulting inter alia in increased storage stability, improved pumpability due to reduced viscosity of the oil and longer operational life of the filter systems. Further, said additive produces better combustion of heavy oils. The effective additive quantity for said oils amounts to 2 to 2,000 ppm. The oils described are specially adequate to be used as fuel for industrial installations and power stations and as fuel for boat motors.
