Abstract:
A device controller is provided which allows a vehicle occupant to confirm a device to be operated without looking an operation section. When a controller of a microswitch indicates a device such as a window regulator or a sun roof, a control circuit feeds a motion confirmation signal to a corresponding device such as a right-hand front door ECU and a roof ECU. A door glass, a sliding roof or the like then reciprocate slightly (i.e., in an amount that is enough for the vehicle occupant to visually confirm the reciprocation) via a window regulator driving circuit, a sun roof driving circuit or the like. The vehicle occupant can thereby confirm a device to be operated by the operation section without looking an operation section.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which allows a movable part to be actuated not only by using a motor drive unit of the movable part but also by a small physical force, though the actuator has a simple structure. SOLUTION: A crank 5 is driven by reversible motors 1, 4. The crank has a crank hole 13 which extends along movement routes of the movable parts 7, 8. A driving body 14 provided at the movable part 7 is fitted in the crank hole. The crank hole 13 has a length equal to the movement route of the driving body 14 between a basic position and a release or partially release position. Also, a switch is provided so that the crank 5 can return to the basic position by the motors 1, 4 by operating the switch after the movable parts 7, 8 have been controlled and driven to the release position. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize an operation device (2) and a method for operating a body part of an automobile (1) and to accomplish easy automatic operation and non-restricted manual operation of the body part. SOLUTION: An electric/mechanical drive unit (9) has at least one first drivable stop element and a transmission unit (10) has at least one second stop element connected to the body part (3). The stop elements are arranged while abutted on each other in order to transmit operation force in a transmission direction and are arranged in transmission directions (29, 30) while left from each other in order to cut off the drive unit (9) from the transmission unit (10). A furniture hinge with equipment includes a toggle-type hinge and a shock absorber. The latter is either a rotary (a first approach) or a line (a second approach) shock absorber. Irrespective of the approach, the shock absorber is arranged transversely to a major longitudinal axis of the toggle-type hinge and bound to a hinge pot.

Abstract:
A covering of a building opening includes a rail, a first sash having a guiding slot, a second sash hinged with the first sash and having a center of rotation at an end thereof, a pulley assembly, and a restricting assembly. The pulley assembly is movably received in the rail and has a rod. The rod has a protrusion section extending out of the rail, and the protrusion section enters and leaves the guiding slot while the pulley assembly is moving. The restricting assembly has a moving member and a locking base. The moving member is provided on one of the first sash and the second sash, and the locking base is provided on the other. The moving member is moved by the rod and engages the locking base when the rod leaves the guiding slot.

A system for use with a emergency exit door, comprising: a door opener including a stationary actuator with a movable distal arm for pushing the door open; a door strike mountable to a door frame having an opening to receive a latch of the emergency exit door, the electric door strike including a gate having a locked condition and a release condition; a controller connected to the door opener and the door strike; a remote activator having a triggered condition, which provides a signal to the controller when the remote activator is triggered, to unlock the gate and then the door opener, to open the emergency exit door.

A window assembly (118) comprises: a window regulator (144) for driving a main window (124) up and down, a connection system (196) with a latch (198), a division bar (122), and quarter-light window (206) which may be driven down by the regulator (144) to a controlled index position at which the latch (198) disengages such that the quarter-light may be left in a slightly lowered index position while the main window may be further lowered, the latch reengaging once the main window is raised again, the raising and lowering of the quarter-light window (120) enabling the quarter-light to securely engage with a seal (246) positioned between its top edge (204) and an A-pillar (106) of the vehicle (100) and also allowing a door to which the assembly to be opened and closed without interference between the quarter-light and the seal (246).
