The invention comprises caprolactam in the form of round pellets. The pellets preferably have a mean diameter of 0.5-5 mm. and contain less than 0.3% by weight of moisture. The pellets may be prepared by dividing molten caprolactam into drops, e.g. by spraying and solidifying by direct cooling in a gaseous medium, e.g. air. In the examples, the drops fall down a tower against an upward current of air. Additives may include stabilizers such as anti-oxidants, and catalysts for the polymerization of the lactam.

La invención se refiere a un compuesto (RS)-2-(2-oxo-4-fenilpirrol idin-l-il)acetamida que tiene actividad moduladora con un efecto proporcionado, a una sustancia farmacéutica (RS)-2-(2-oxo-4-fenilp irrolidin-1-il)acetamida que contiene: 2-(2-oxo-4-fenilpirrolidin- 1-il)acetamida - no menos de 99,0% y no más de 100,5% en base seca; impurezas individuales relacionadas, individualmente o en total - no más de 0,2%; cantidades residuales de solventes orgánicos, individualmente o en total - no más de 3.000 ppm.
