Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent small local damage from spreading in a cooling passage upon generation of a hole for example by guiding a compensation flow of cooling air into adjacent cooling passes such that a flow speed in the cooling passage exceeds a lower limit value at all times even downstream a local damage portion. CONSTITUTION: Entire cooling air flows into a cooling passage 2 and is in turn supplied into a combustion chamber as combustion air. Cooling ribs 4 are disposed between the cooling passages 2, and a connection opening 5 is provided in the cooling rib 4. Herein, when there happens any local damage in the cooling passage during operation passage through a gas turbine combustion chamber, for example there happens a small hole, the small local damage portion 6 might cause large damage. The reason is that cooling air is not enough supplied to the downstream of the hole. However, a compensation flow is produced by providing the connection opening 5 between the cooling passages 2, and hence a flow speed of the cooling air is never below a lower limit value even downstream of the local damage portion 6, and hence temperature exceeding an upper limit value is avoided.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To suppress NO2 emission to a minimum by injection fuel after mixing a partial quantity flow guided to a low-pressure turbine from a pressure wave supercharger, with gas from a high pressure turbine and combusting this mixture in a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION: Air compressed in a low-pressure compressor 1 is mixed with fuel in the downstream side of the compressor, and this mixture is supplied to a pressure wave supercharger 3 and combusted. After the partial quantity flow of combustion gas from the pressure wave supercharger 3 guided through a low-pressure driving gas conduit 6 to a low-pressure turbine 8 is mixed with gas from a high-pressure turbine 7, fuel 4 is injected, and this mixture is combusted in a combustion chamber 9. Especially a part of the mixture composed of exhaust gas partially expanded by the high-pressure turbine and cooled and the partial quantity flow guided to the low-pressure turbine is branched before fuel injection to perform intermediate heating, mixed with a part of the air compressed by the low-pressure compressor, and returned to the low- pressure conduit through an exhaust gas conduit and a diagram valve immediately before it flows into the pressure wave supercharger.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a method for achieving thorough mixing of combustion gas and fuel within a shortest distance while keeping a uniform velocity distribution in the mixing region. CONSTITUTION: In a fuel supply system with premixing combustion, a gaseous and/or liquid fuel is introduced as a secondary flow into a gaseous ducted main flow wherein the secondary flow has a substantially smaller mass flow than the main flow. The main flow is guided via vortex generators 9 of which a plurality are arranged adjacent to one another over the periphery of a through duct 20. The secondary flow is fed into the duct 20 in the immediate region of the vortex generators 9. A vortex generator 9 has three surfaces around which flow takes place freely, which surfaces extend in the flow direction, one of them forming the top surface and the two others forming the side faces. The fuel is fed into the duct from nozzles which are located before, behind or in the vortex generator.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce fluctuations in a clearance to improve efficiency by heating the casing of a compressor, before starting warming up, until the radial clearance between a rotor and a stator due to a temperature gradient stops decreasing. CONSTITUTION: For warm-up start, a compressor casing 2 is heated in consideration of a radial clearance. For this purpose, a plurality of heating channels 7a to 7c are formed in the axial direction of the compressor inside the casing 2, therefore a heating medium is circulatingly-supplied from a separated heater. The inner periphery of the casing 2 is provided with a plurality of guide vanes 4a, 4b, and recessed parts 8 are formed in order to receive the guide vanes 4a, 4b, into which the vane's roots 6a, 6b corresponding to the guide vanes 4a, 4b are inserted. The heating medium flows through the heating channels 7a to 7c from the left to the right, in the opposite direction to the flowing direction in the compressor 1. It is thus possible to obtain a temperature gradient in the axial direction roughly corresponding to that generated in the compressor during operation.

The turbine inlet 3 guides a high temperature gas from the combustion chamber 4 to the turbine part 2, and is restricted outward by an outward shell 7 and inward by an inward shell 8. In this case, respective guide parts 12, 13 in many radial directions allocated uniformly in respective circumferential direction, are arranged on the outward shell 7 and/or the inner shell 8. Each of guide parts 12, 13 obstruct one or both sliding of each shell 7, 8, and allow expansion and contraction of a radial direction.

The IGBT produced in this manner is particularly insensitive to a latch-up.

Steam 14 can be delivered from the coil pipe 30 through a steam conduit 33, the evaporating water 12 flows in the helical part from the lower part to the upper part, cooling air 11 capable of being supplied from a compressor through an air inlet conduit 24 flows in the helical part from the upper part to the lower part, and the air is guided to change the direction in the lowest point within the pressure vessel 23 before it reaches a cooling air outflow conduit 25 after leaving the helical part.
