Abstract: 본 발명은 배기계의 프론트 파이프 구조에 관한 것으로, 배기 매니폴드와 촉매 정화 장치 사이를 연결하는 프론트 파이프를 배기 매니폴드와 연결되는 분기된 부위와, 촉매 정화 장치와 연결되는 합류된 부위 및, 상기 프론트 파이프 전체를 이중 구조로 감싸고서 내부에 단열의 공기층을 형성하도록 함으로써, 연소시 발생하는 압력파에 의한 영향을 줄여 엔진의 체적 효율의 향상에 따른 출력의 증대를 도모할 수 있도록 하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
전술한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명은, 엔진의 배기 포트와 연결되는 배기 매니폴드(10)와, 이 배기 매니폴드(10)의 후미에서 연소후 발생되는 배기 가스를 촉매 정화 장치에 이르도록 안내하는 프론트 파이프(20)를 포함하는 엔진의 배기계에 있어서, 상기 프론트 파이프(20)는 상기 배기 매니폴드(10)와 개별적으로 연통되는 복수의 듀얼 파이프(22)와, 이 듀얼 파이프(22)가 형성하는 복수의 통로를 단일의 통로로 합류시키도록 일측이 분기되게 형성된 합류 파이프(24) 및, 이 합류 파이프(24)에 일측 선단이 연결됨과 더불어 타측 선단이 상기 촉매 정화 장치와 연결되는 싱글 파이프(26)를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.-

Abstract: The present invention relates to an exhaust heat collecting device which includes a housing unit which is joined to an exhaust pipe to form an internal space and where cooling water flows in and out from the inside; a main pipe which is connected to the exhaust pipe inside the housing unit and where exhaust gas flows from an inlet to an outlet which includes bypass holes which are formed by being spaced from the outlet and connected to the outside; a warmer pipe which is joined inside the housing unit where the main pipe is arranged inside; a warmer plate which is formed onto a curved plate shape, is joined to the warmer pipe to form a space between the warmer pipe and itself, and is configured to make an ATF enter inside; sub pipes of which one side is connected to the bypass hole inside the housing unit; and a valve assembly which is mounted to open the outlet of the main pipe. The other side of the sub pipe is connected to the space of the main pipe and the warmer pipe, and the exhaust gas sent to the bypass holes is discharged via the sub pipes and the space between the main pipe and the warmer pipe when the outlet of the main pipe is closed. The present invention can rapidly heat the cooling water and ATF (or other oil which a warm-up is required like the engine oil instead of the ATF) via a heat exchange with the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas flowing into the intake chamber is discharged through the first intermediate pipe to the exhaust chamber, and then emitted through the tail pipes to the outside when the engine operates at a low speed. The exhaust gas flowing into the intake chamber is discharged through the second intermediate pipe, which is formed with an intake hole separated with a wider interval than the first intermediate pipe from the exhaust port of the exhaust pipe, to the exhaust chamber, and then emitted through the tail pipes to the outside when the engine operates at a high speed.
