Abstract: A news package service based on TV-anytime metadata collected from RSS(Rich Site Summary) is provided to collect news contents at one time from new sites using the RSS and process and collect TVA(TV-anytime) metadata from RSS information about separate news contents simultaneously, thereby minimizing resources required to collect contents and produce metadata. An apparatus(100) for providing a news package service based on TVA metadata collected from RSS comprises an RSS manager(140), an RSS collector(130), and a metadata service provider(150). The RSS manager sets conditions for collecting RSS data. The RSS collector collects the RSS data of a RSS format from a RSS service provider using the set conditions, converts the collected RSS data into TVA metadata, and generates and stores a news package based on the TVA metadata. The metadata service provider transmits the news package through a channel.

Abstract: A device and a method for measuring similarity based on feature of music, and a music recommendation system and method using the same are provided to calculate the similarity in an Internet or digital broadcasting environment based on the feature of the preferred music of a user and recommend the music effectively to the user based on the similarity.
