According to an embodiment of the present invention, a damper pulley of an alternator for a vehicle is mounted on a front end of a shaft of the alternator to receive, through a belt, a driving force transmitted from a crank shaft of an engine, thereby being rotated. The damper pulley of an alternator for a vehicle includes: a pulley housing having the outer peripheral surface with a belt connecting portion formed thereon, on which the belt is hung to be connected thereto, having one surface closed, having the center of the other surface with an insertion hole to which the front end of the shaft is inserted, and having a mounting space formed therein; a power transmission unit arranged inside the closed one surface in the mounting space of the pulley housing so as to receive the torque of the pulley housing and disperse and transmit the torque to the shaft; and an elastic member interposed between the shaft and the power transmission unit in the mounting space so as to transmit, to the shaft, torque transmitted by the power transmission unit while absorbing vibration transmitted through the pulley housing.
