    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to polyolefin compositions, in particular polypropylene compositions containing (a) 45 to 90%, of a propylene polymer optionally containing up to 7%wt of ethylene and having a melt flow rate (ISO 1133 230°C/2.16 kg) ranging from 0.5 to 5g/10'; (b) from 10 to 55% of a multicomponent recycled composition containing at least 70 % by weight, of a propylene polymer containing from 1 to 7% by weight of ethylene and from 5 to 30, by weight of a styrenic block copolymer (SBC). The polyolefin compositions according to the present disclosure find application in extrusion, thermoforming and blow molding applications particularly for manufacturing of bottles.

    Abstract: Heterophasic copolymers of propylene with a MFR2 (230°C/2.16 Kg) of from 3.0 to 12.0 g/10 min comprise: (a) from 55 to 75 wt. % of a component (A) being a copolymer of propylene with ethylene or a C4-C10 alpha-olefin, comprising from 0.5 to 2.0 wt. % of ethylene and/or C4-C10 alpha-olefin units and having a MFR2 (230°C/2.16 K g) ranging from 60 to 140 g/10 min; and (b) from 25 to 45 wt. % of a component (B) being a propylene-ethylene copolymer comprising 25 to 45 wt. % of ethylene units and having a value of the intrinsic viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene at room temperature (XS-IV) ranging from 5 to 9 dl/g.

    Abstract: A polypropylene composition comprising (per cent by weight unless otherwise specified): (a) 65 to 85%, of a crystalline propylene polymer having an amount of isotactic pentads (mmmm), measured by 13C-MNR on the fraction insoluble in xylene at 25° C, higher than 97.0 molar% and a polydispersity index ranging from 3 to 15; (b) 5 to 25%, of an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and propylene, the copolymer having an amount of recurring units deriving from ethylene ranging from 30 to 70%, preferably 35 to 60%, and being partially soluble in xylene at ambient temperature; the polymer fraction soluble in xylene at ambient temperature having an intrinsic viscosity value ranging from 3 to 10 dl/g; and (c) 5 to 25%, of recycled polyethylene (r-PE) having a melt flow rate (190°C/2.16 Kg) from 0.1 to 10 g/10 min, the whole composition having a value of melt flow rate (ISO 1133 230°C/2.16 kg) ranging from higher than 3.0 g/10min to 15 g/10min, the percentages of (a), (b) and (c) being referred to the sum of (a), (b) and (c).

    Abstract: A process for the preparation of a propylene polymer containing a colouring agent in an amount ranging from 0.2 to 30 ppm referred to the weight of propylene polymer, comprising: a) providing a solid ZN catalyst component which comprises Mg, Ti, halogen and an internal electron donor compound, said Ti being in an amount ranging from 0.1 to 10% of the total weight of solid catalyst component; b) providing a colouring agent comprising at least a pigment; c) mixing the ZN catalyst particles and the colouring agent in a liquid hydrocarbon medium so as to obtain a slurry and d) feeding the slurry obtained in c) to a polymerization reactor and subjecting the reactor to polymerization conditions so as to produce the propylene polymer.
